Jax's big weaknesses at the moment are CC. He seems to die way too quickly in teamfights. This build is intended for someone wanting to try somethin a bit diff on Jax.
Goes for firstblood hard. Make sure to get mid lane, your life will be so much better. You are great at harassing, dealing absurd amounts of dmg with an empowered leapstrike early. With increased movement speed and feigning, you should have no problem landing a few of these early.
After first trip back, get an attack speed potion so you can jungle (possibly also lifesteal, gotta try this) as well as kage's which will be built into deathfire (we want absurd burst dmg, the goal is to ambush someone and kill them and get out, staying mostly in the jungle from level 6 on).
The reason to go empower over leap is that after the 3 ticks, the dmg scales more then jump strike does, and it is spammable when chasing. You always get the 1:1 ap ratio from leap strike which is excellent but the base dmg doesn't scale as quickly as empower. Empower can also be used to 'kite' mobs in the jungle. Clear the golems little helpers, charge up empower and smack golem, run a bit while charging again... good strat with regen items.
The key points to this build are mobility and burst dmg. We want to be able to pop in and take down a turret quick before they realized what happened, and when they do realize you want to be well on your way out of there or into the jungle to gank someone. Teleport should be used early like TF, when enemies are tryin to gank your homies, teleport behind them and clean up.
I'll update this later after I do some early game jungling tests. Items in list are simply there as reference.
Before leaving: (first time focus on getting firstblood or harassing enough to get them home. Early game is Jax's strongpoint.

- health pot(s)
Second time: give your mid lane to someone else, if they can get there quickly. You should prowl jungle, and jump out and gank whenever the opportunity presents itself.
- Kage's pick - some cash flow and deathfire later.
- haste pot, (testing, but for jungling)
- boots, possibly upgrade to merc or tabi
Third time: Now you should be ready to gank hard, if the enemy team is rolling as a whole team, you should off lane while your team defends and try to push down a tower. You should be formidable 1v1 but as we all know, with cc in group fights jax dies quick. Build your burst dmg and speed.
Fourth time: Hopefully you are doing well. By this time you have to push further so need more chances to escape. Banshees will help with this. Rylais is fun for ganking, your leapstrike will slow them hard. Unfortunately empower doesnt really seem to interact with Rylai's, but counter strike will.
