Hello, and welcome to my first guide, sorry for my bad english, it is not my main language.
i've allways found it funny to play other heros than all other. So i tried Taric, im not playing him so supportive as others. Please read the whole guide before comment, hope you enjoy.

many others are playing Taric as a support, but i think if you throw in some AP and Attack speed, then he is really strong offensive too. i just mean that Taric can do some awsome DMG too.

PROS:
Strong farmer.
Good surviveabillity.
Really strong early/mid game.
Easy to escape with.
Really fun to play.

CONS:
Hard to play.
a bit squishy.
I really dont have other bad things to say :D

Actually, i never buy the same items to Taric, the way i play him there is not only 1 way, it depend on your situation, if your team already have a tank/Support, and u are against heavy burst mages items like Wit's End, and Hexdrinker are really usefull, but some core items will always be Spirit Visage, Mercury's Treads ang Guinsoo's rageblade.

for masteries i take the normal 0-21-9

for runes i take 9 greater glyph of warding, 9 greater mark of alacrity, 9 greater seal of Replenishment, and then 3 matching quintessences.

I take Ghost, because i think it gives a nice movement speed bonus, and it is ideal to chase or escape.
And also clarity, because if taric just have enough mana then you can stay alive as long as you would, with his healing spells.
