I fell in love with quinn when i first read her skills, and saw Vault. I have a history of turret diving, and Vault makes it less painful, and still effective at the same time, from that point on, the rest was just a perk.
Quinn ianr foe everyone, and certainly makes you pay for your mistakes, most often with your life. that being said, she will reward you for the things you do right
Pros / Cons
+Quinn has incredible burst potential from harrier
+doesnt need the infinity edge as early due to harrier
+benefits greatly from vamp scepters
+can make full use of botrk from an early point on
+strong utility on her ult for split pushing
+ultimate also functions as a "catch up and execute" picture it as a AOE Garen ult
-Squishy as all hell
-lower atk range then most other adcs
-preforms best with a select few supports, notably volibear, thresh, blitzcrank.
-cc will melt her face
-melee ult isnt very usefull in the fight, but a better cleanup after
-suceptable to strong gankers, as her Vault can do more harm then good due to bad positioning
Alot of people have asked me why a blade of the ruined king so early, so i thought i would explain myself.
lets start at the part where it gives 30 ad,15% life steal, and 40% attack speed: all of these are stats that do VERY well on an adc early game, outshining an early bt in lifesteal and zeal in as.
what really gets me is the passive, 5% current enemy hp per attack as bonus dmg on a passive is wonderfull regardless of who is in your lane. the active, 15% max hp applied as bonus dmg and a movesteal slow is a clutch active that can grant you or your team that kill on the j4 thats wrecking everything or that volibear who stacked nothing but health
Zerker greaves are standard
bloodthirsters: i stack them, i find that with two, its damn near impossible to die because the ad from your items+ crit from the pdancer and late game roughly 2.0 as you do more dmg then they can take away, espc with the passive from botrk
pdancer also not as important because of Quinns innate "ad Caster" type set up, that being said 30% crit chance, ignore unit collision 5% increased movespeed and 50% as, well you really cant go wrong with that
as for the last item, its highly situational, but i always always ALWAYs get something that grants me health. Wmogs preferably.
this is a short and to the point setup to -Guide- you to your play in quinn, the way you play her is going to change alot of your items and quints, but these are the things that work for me, becuase she is so new, im going to continue poking with her and testing her out everywhere and anywhere, and post the results and revisions here, If you would like to discuss Quinn or help me out please leave me a message in league at Adrrock.
