Hey fokes, I hope your all doing well. Many guides out there TELL you what to buy and how to rank your skills...first off I'm telling you never ever fix your self to a guide, there more of a reference then an actual thing you fallow to the letter. I suggest but remember you have choices, always adapt to your enemies. Now then...lets get started.
Brand is powerful, and personally I've viewed him like a less "omg lets nuke the map" karth. Brand being a very powerful champ whom can basically keep the heat on his foe at all times, eventually forcing them to flee, or trapping them into a show down that they will lose.
Last note on skill sequence, I'd max conflagration first, great damage and an aoe to boot if foe is on fire. Pillar of flame second, and lastly Sear.
* Disclaimer* I don't recommend you play brand in pvp right off the bat, he does have skill shots and line shots that you MUST get use to in order to fill his potential. Ok, lets move on.
Now Brand is basically a mage, magic pen. is perfect for his abilities, mana regen to keep him in the fight, and lastly ap/more magic pen to inflict alot of damage. Considering most champs only have 30 magic resist, having this many runes and masteries will bring almost any foe to exactly 0 resistance. Of course there is choices out there and remember I'm not telling you to go spend all your ip on that, you have full ability to pick and chose as you see fit.
Brand Being a mage is known to be squishie...if any one's played Karth, I'm sure your use to being slapped once and exploding. The hourglass is perfect for those team fights when the enemy dps goes for you, you pop ulti and then item, and your now a conductor to a BBQ :D
Brand shouldn't be in the front of course, putting him mid to back is perfect for range, his skills, and always helpful stun. Remember, your a "carry" but your not immune to everything, Don't push with out help.
Magic pen, Ap items, and a protective item just in case, what more need be said?
Now then, I personally love Ghost and Ignite. Setting them on fire twice is enough to normally bring down most champs if you did your job right early on, but the choice is yours here, take em as you see fit based on your level and ability to have the runes you need.
This is of course my first guide and I'm ok with it my self, I happen to use this build and it's served me well.
Thanks to Riot for League of legends, bringing people to the point of nearly smashing there computers to bits after a cheep stun lock fear combo.
