This build for Brand is the main build I tend to use in 3v3 matches.
Pros / Cons
- HIGH damage output
- 2-second stun
- Lots of AoE
- Very good nuker
- Awesome 3v3
- Sorta squishy
- Small mana pool early game
- No escape mechanisms and very susceptible to CC
- Very gankable
Brands abilities all have one main thing in common... DAMAGE!!!
In this section i will briefly explain his abilities, what they do, and how they are used.
Blaze is Brand's passive ability. This passive ability deals 2% of an enemy player's maximum health in magic damage per second for 4 seconds after they are hit with one of Brand's spells. This is actually a really cool passive ability. This spell alone has given me a lot of kills. It is especially useful for when you almost do enough damage to kill an enemy but they end up escaping. They will continue to take damage and eventually meet their crispy demise.
Pillar of Flame
- I prefer this to Flash since i find it gives you distance and has more uses.
- Can give you an extra push when chasing someone down.
- For escaping since Brand has NO escape mechanisms.
- Can let you reach a tower in time to defend it.
- Brand has mana issues early to mid game.
- Using this spell will allow you to stay in the lane longer.
- Can let you get a stun off if someone decides to bum rush you and you are almost out of mana.
- Can let you get that kill when u just almost have enough mana
Other Summoner Spells:
I honestly think Brand can output enough damage without this spell and he would be better off with a different spell. Some people prefer to use this spell though and it would definitely not hurt to use this i just prefer not to.
As with Ignite I think Brand would benefit more from a different spell. Brand already has the ability to stun which give him ample time to do massive amounts of damage. I also find that this spell just doesn't slow as much as I would like it to.
This spell can be used in place of Ghost, but I much rather prefer to use Ghost considering it is much more useful. This main purpose of this spell is to reduce your downtime and increase your lane time... the decision is yours.
Brand has awesome harass skills.
Early game I use Pillar of Flame to harass. Some players choose to use Conflagration since it consumes less mana. I find that when using Pillar of Flame and Clarity early in the game you will do a lot damage, potentially get kills, and have the ones that don't die running back to base.
Brand is an excellent farmer. Depending on what part of the game you are in do the following:
Early game farming is a little hard but still as good if not better than most champions. Just hit them until they get low on health then use Pillar of Flame and if some are still alive just use your basic attack or wait until Blaze finishes them off.
For the middle part of the game you can use the early game technique after using Pillar of Flame follow up with a Conflagration.
BEWARE: This combo and potentially consume a lot of mana leaving you vulnerable to attack.
