This is the build i use with brand , and u can go see on my profile's page ("Arrazius") , but i'm not level 30 so i haven't got all the runes i recommand now ...

This is the first time i post a build , i hope this will help some players who are interested in Brand and don't know how to play it ...

I know some people don't like the Mejai , but at the beginning of the game , i try to feel if i'll chain kill or assist a lot , and then i take or not my mejai ... it's hard to choose if you take it or not , but it's never too late to take it , mid game when you kill a lot don't hesitate to buy your Mejai.

I think that there is 2 "good" ways to engage a fight with Brand , the first , is the way explicated in the spotlight , u put your pillar of flame , and at the same time launch Sear on the enemy to stun him in the fight.
The second , is to put your DoT on your target with Conflagration , then you stun your target with Sear and last u throw your Pillar Of Flame 'cause when the DoT is applied , Pillar put 25% more damage on the targets
