@Milly: Spell vamp is great on Brand because his skills are all AoE based, hence allowing him to absorb HP from the magic damage dealt to all targets hit by those skills. Also, your passive 2% target max HP in magic damage Blaze allows you to spell vamp from that too, which is a decent amount if the enemy has alot of HP.

@Mr_Sully: The whole point of Mejai's Soulstealer early is to build stacks via assists, something your AoE spells and passive excel profusely at. I mentioned that you should get it only if you feel confident in landing those assists/kills. Otherwise, I'd recommend something like Void Staff/ Abyssal Mask if they are going MR against you, or Zhonya's Hourglass if you find yourself targeted alot in team battles and cannot survive.

I like your build guide and to answer Milling, the spellvamp is really nice, especially after its buff. Plus it is an aura for spellvamp and ability power, which is even better if you have any AP teammates, who would no longer have to buy a spellvamp item for team fights.

My concern is that you build soulstealer with no ability power beforehand which would make it very hard to get any stacks and would mark you as a target for the other team, so I can only suggest building something else first, like the hextech revolver and then the M's SS

I've been building him similar, I normally build Morello's instead of Tear/AA. One thing would be to wait on your Will of the Ancients, as its some 1k gold for +5% more spell vamp and 30 more AP, and since two of your skills only give you 33% of your spell vamp (AoE), 5% is hardly going to make a dent. Throwing that 1k at the belt for Rylai's would help you last longer during skirmishes during mid game, and then finishing WotA either after Rylai's, maybe before finishing if you're hurting, or even after picking up your Needlessly Large Rod for Rabadon's. Definitely xfer once Brand template comes out.
