Well, nimbleness and Archaic Knowledge are essential to have a powerful, sturdy, and mobile Cho. This makes you 9 offense and 9 defense. Now the choice is really between Aldor (4% AS&AP at lvl 18) and Tenacity (4% less damage taken), or Havoc (5% more damage done). Aldor is very tempting it is true, but consider that this champion is not an AP champion but an AP hybrid. This means that 4% of not a whole lot of AP is really nothing at all. In addition, Cho's AP scaling is only average (100% rupture, 70% FS, 20% Vorpal Spikes, 50% Feast). In addition, this starts at only 2% and scales up every level, so its only half as affective while laning (when masteries really matter the most). 4% reduced damage is nice too but really masteries will help the most early game (then gear and natural scaling will by far trump mastery bonuses).
On the other hand...5% damage is very nice all along the way. 5% more pure damage on the ult, 5% more melee for farming. You can almost equate 5% damage to getting 5% more kills (5% more gold, mp, hp return- this isn't quite true). What you can say is that this skill gets you to the point where you are farming mobs effectively faster and that gets you on the fast track to a geared champion.
Simply put, you take brute force because its the best option you have to get to Havoc.

Why do you give Cho the brute force mastery? (AD) If most of everything he does is Ap?

I like this approach without warmogs. Its def. different then all the other noob mobafire cho builds on here. Probably pretty important to go catalyst/Rod of ages first.

So...just giving a thumbs down and not giving an explanation is pretty uncool. I love this build, I play it all the time. My friends all play THIS build when they play Cho and even when they are new to the character they do well with him.
So yeah, maybe you think Cho should run around with a warmogs and be useless or a GA and be useless right off the bat...I'd hate to be your teammates but whatever. Express you thoughts like "Hey I like to buy a strictly defensive item right off the bat so that I can't farm effectively and I'm useless the rest of the game because of it". Maybe you even have a good reason to dislike my guide...be courteous and tell me.
