Introduction

This build is extremely good for mid and late game 1v1 or even for Tower Diving mid or late game. Your attack speed and crit chance will be hard to sustain for opponents and force them back. Just remember to save your alpha strike until they start running away. This Yi can also backdoor without having to run away from opponents trying to save the tower.

Runes

Greater Quintessence of Malice - Obviously, as a critical strike character, your ability to get a critical strike is "critical". See what I did there?

Greater Mark of Alacrity - The more attacks you get adds on to the amount of critical strikes you get.

Greater Glyph of Alacrity - Same as above.

Greater Seal of Furor - Getting critical hits isn't going to do much for you if they don't do much damage, now will they?

Items

First, grab a dagger and health potion. The dagger helps kill creeps, while the health potion helps you stay alive and keep laning. Then, build into your first Phantom Dancer. After that, you should be able to take on another champion head to head... if you can catch them. So, you buy boots of speed and upgrade those to Berserker's Greaves for more attack speed. Then build into your next Phantom Dancer the way I show (IT IS VITAL TO YOUR SURVIVAL). Then start working your way through to Guardian Angel (this way is only recommended) to help you stay in battle longer. Buy towards Ionic Spark for more attack speed and creep control. Go ahead and sell the Berserker's Greaves for building the last Phantom Dancer. You will be left with an empty slot to buy whatever you find necessary (if the game is still going).

Summoner Spells

Teleport - helps you join in on those much needed ganks and helps you get to towers quicker before they are taken down.

Flash - lets you, again, jump into a gank or get away quicker if need be.

Skill Sequence

First, take Alpha Strike to farm minions faster and for better crowd control around turrets. After that, take Wuju Style for harder hits. Repeat until level 5 when you take Meditation for healing to stay laning. Then take Highlander to take out towers and opponents faster (if you have highlander and can't choose if you should use it on an opponent or a tower, choose the opponent because, when you kill them, you gain it back to use it again on the tower). After that, keep switching between Alpha Strike and Wuju Style until you can get Highlander again. You will be forced to take meditation eventually, but remember at 16 to take Highlander for the last time.
