Hi and welcome to my dominion build for Irelia.
Irelia is really strong and can be quite tanky, and that's why she has great surviving chances.
She can farm minions easily and in 1v1 she is unstoppable.
I play Irelia as a Capturer and also defender because she's tanky, but can still deal tons of damage. And that's what makes Irelia one of my favorite champions in League of Legends.

Pros:
Deals tons of damage.
Can be quite tanky.
Can even 1v2 if played properly.
Great, great champion.
Great chaser.
Strong in team fights.

Cons:
Can be killed easily if ganked too much.
Very squishy without right items.
Gets focused too often.
Stun works only on enemies with higher health than hers.

Well then to the runes.
As runes i use:
Armor Pen.
Dodge
Magic Resist
Movement Speed
Why?
Armor Pen.
Helps you in the beginning of the game to do more damge, Duh?
Dodge
Bigger chance of surviving when fighting against more than 1 champion.
Magic Resist
Ap champions don't deal that great damage on you.(It doesn't help much.)
Movement Speed
Can catch enemies easier and can escape if getting ganked.

For masteries i take 21/9/
I prefer Irelia that deals tons of damage.

And now for the skills.
-Passive: You could say that this is one of the best passives.


-Bladesurge One of the best skill for chasing people. And with Trinity Force it deals great amount of damage.


-[Passive]Hiten Style gives her attacks 10/14/18/22/26 health restoration, which is great against heavy tanks like Alistar. This attack is also nice for farming minions or jungling.


-Irelias strongest skill that stuns opponent, if she has lower health than enemy target. But otherwise it's really good for chasing 'cause it slows the target anyway.


-Irelias ultimate which is good for farming minions 'cause of it's short cooldown, but in the late game it can be insanely strong against squishy champions, and it heals you everytime it hits enemy.
Aiming is quite hard at first, but you'll get used to it.
