I tried your whole build after that i think that ap is the best build now on sona big heals, great damage and MS boost even talisman no match on the boost not to mention you can spam your ms boost often if doing great you can be the first target but if play safe, everything is fine because sona with ap means can't be catch due to high mobility even udyr can't outrun it. though i take ignite i only take exhaust if it's solely leona.

good thing about this, no one expect going full ap supp. now a days on sona so they wouldn't expect the damage and if your markman and you(sona) snowballed you can even takedown anyone alone well not the tank that's why i'm going ignite always,of course allies feel free take the last hit

Missmaw,

Thanks for your replay.

1. I went with armor because she is squishy early game, that extra armor helps her trades pre lv6. Magic Pen marks are definitely a possibility and would be great for damage but I try to remember I'm support first damage second.

2. Ideally yes, and it's rarely an either or. I usually dont back until i can get both. But I do place alot of importance on vision.

3. I started off using mobility boots but you lose speed whenever in combat making it nearly impossible to make any kind of escapes (especially with all the cc running around). Using boots of speed and your Song of Clarity really help you get out of bad situations.

4. Typically what I do is take q either at lv 1 or 2, have 1 point in each by lv 3, second point in w then max q. But this really depends on how the game is going so skill order is very subject to change.

5. I used to, but you really want 21 points in the utility and 4 in the offense for 10% cdr from your masteries freeing your runes up for more ap. If you went with another build with boots of Ionia or runes with cdr maybe.

6. Thanks for the suggestions, again my first guide I didnt know that.

7. Ignite is a strictly offensive option, to me this has nothing to do with support. If you want kills yes but again you want your adc to get the kills so exhaust. Clarity again is not a popular pick but one I personally love. Giving a Vayne/Lucian or most adc's a refill on mana often keeps them in lane longer since you can supply both health and mana to them.

8. Again didnt know that was an option :p

Hey, thoughts:

1. Sona is indeed squishy and needs armour, but she also needs health, or wouldn't mind some anyway. Sona's got one of, if not the, lowest base healths in the game. Armour is great, but if you're taking it in marks, you may as well take flat HP in seals. Alternatively, keep the armour in the seals and get some offensive marks, hybrid pen or attack damage. Or I suppose magic pen works for this build best, as you are going full AP.

2. Unless you are behind or getting camped, you should rush Frostfang over Sightstone because the amount of gold you get doubles. Preferably here's what your item path should look like: Spellthief's -> 1300g Sightstone + Frostfang -> ~900g Frostfang + Ruby Crystal -> <900 Frostfang and consumables.

3. If you want speed, go for mobility boots. Otherwise, Ionians and magic pen boots are good alternatives to mention. I wouldn't go for boots of swiftness.

4. Getting Q at 1 and then 5 looks a little weird but I guess it's all right. I think you could get away with delaying E until level 10 or so and getting the extra point in W, rather than delaying Q.

5. I'd possibly consider mastery pages that go deeper in the defence tree, Sona being as squishy as she is. This is fine though.

6. Think overall your guide is nicely formatted, neat and simple. I'd change the colours in the Pros and Cons. The vivid red is tough on the eyes with the black background. I'd either pick a softer red or I'd leave only "Cons" and "Pros" coloured, and the rest of it white. You could add bulletins in front of the text and colour them too. e.g.
+ Great sustain in lane
+ Long range and damaging pokes that don't require skill shots
+ Good mobility

7. Instead of recommending clarity as an alternative, I would consider Ignite.

8. Also I'd turn on "comment to vote" to avoid "troll"-votes (people downvoting your guide without having to comment a reason).
