SKILLS

Crimson Pact
(Innate): Every 25 points of bonus health gives Vladimir 1 ability power and every 1 point of ability power gives Vladimir 2 bonus health (does not stack with itself)

Transfusion
Vlads best skill, becomes a 2.7 second cool down at level 9 if you have reduced cooldown masteries, a skill that gives you health and deals AP damage (that scales).

Sanguine Pool
Your pool of blood that lets you escape almost every stun, slow, or disable, its very convenient for you when you want to slow a champion, tower dive, or simply run away.

Tides of Blood
Tides of blood is one of three AoE spells you have, having it at rank four with high AP really burns through several targets, the only bad part is how much health it takes away (100 per charge to a max of 4)

Lets not forget that it can also reveal wards, invisible champions, and champions in nearby bushes!

Hemoplague
Hemo is a team fight ability, it increases damage output by 18% at level 3 for anyone that has it ticking on them. It should rarely be used outside of a team fight, of course exceptions can always be made if you need to survive or feel that you can take on two champions at the same time.

Using this, with Tides of blood at 4 charges, and sanguine pool really recks team fights in your favor.

Playing as Vlad

The best idea is to go mid, your a self healing high survivability monster. With transfusion you can remain full health through almost anything. (3v1 gank attempts)
Playing mid you need to be a harasser, and only LAST HIT minions. Auto attacking minions is going to push the enemy close to his/her tower and prevent you from getting your early game ganks, which are very important. Around level 6, with only a tome, you should have your enemy around half health, if not get them there... Now...let them push just enough, duck back out of sight of there minions and their view...you don't want to be seen because your about to gank. Pop Ghost and rush the enemy, through your ultimate down on them then transfusion, Ignite, Pool. Keep underneath them with your pool. If they arent already dead when pool ends, Tides of Blood and Transfusion again.. This works on almost any champion in the game.
