This build might look a little funky, but trust me, it works. This is gonna be a VERY short and sweet guide on how to Caitlyn. Really, all there is to it, is stay further back in team fights, remember your ranged, NOT TANK.

For runes, I just use armor penetration marks and quintessences, with cooldown reduction glyphs, and attack speed seals.

For summoner spells, I go with ghost and Flash. Flash is great to kite over walls to get out of trouble, and to flash ahead to barely get in range for your ult to finish the kill. Ghost, obviously, is great for chasing down weak enemies, or fleeing.

Caitlyn requires some skill for her skill shots, not too hard to hit though really. If you cant hit her skill shots AT LEAST half the time, dont play her. Follow the build I set, and as you may notice, if you follow it exactly, there will end up being 8 items. When you get to the frozen mallet, simply sell dorans blade. Then with Tri Force, sell Berserker Greaves, because you will still have plenty of movement speed from the 2 phantom dancers, AND trinity force.

Also, one thing to notice what makes this build so great is the critical chance. When your done with the build, you will have 100% critical chance, with 250% critical damage.

Do not use your ult to start or initiate a fight, you use it to finish an enemy, or pick off a kill after your teammates have wounded them severely and they are going to get away. Do not be a jerk and KS (kill steal) though. Just use your Q and E to bring their health down enough to ult them for the kill. Really not hard at all. I dont use her W much at all... I use it more for wards than anything. Your a DPS/AD/Critical champ if you follow this build. Good luck and Have fun!
