Introduction
This guide might not be the prettiest at the moment but the content will improve your Draven game.
Below are the expectations you can expect when implementing this guide.
Once you have learned how to play Draven you can expect to often dominate normal 5v5 games. Further, you will significantly increase the likely hood that you will become very effective as a low elo duo/solo teammate. Lastly, Draven is still probably a buff away from being highly competitive in high level elo games. That is not to say that if you are good with him that you wont be able to still dominate a high elo ranked game.
Pros
Great Damage
Farms well (Once learned how to properly)
Incredibly dangerous ult
As mentioned before Draven is fully capable of phenomenal damage even when not catching his blades. Draven can be a very effective farmer while simultaneously hampering enemies from a proper farm. Lastly, Draven's ult is easily capable of cross map killing. Although it is difficult and takes practice it is quite viable to smoke low health champions across the map.
Cons
Slow movement speed
Very support dependent
Hard to play (Maybe the hardest)
Relatively dependent on a few kills early in the game
Explanation of Pro's and Con's
Draven is slow like most ad carry's but the problem is unlike Graves or Ashe Draven needs to be able to move around very quickly to catch blades and then dodge enemy attacks. I have countered this with a relatively early Zeal. Zeal literally makes a huge difference.Draven is very dependent on his support. Strive for a tanky support like Ali or Blitz.... Soraka or Janna often make Draven's life difficult. I find that the tanky types often assist Draven in his much needed early ganks. If you feel like you are not going to be able to gank well then you need to farm very effectively or it will be your demise. If you get ahead of everyone's cash flow you will never be behind unless you really screw up. On the other hand, if you get behind there is almost no way to catch up. I find this to be true because Draven is good at cleaning up what other champions cannot finish but if you are under geared you will constantly be KS'ed so to speak. Further, Draven is a high skill level champion that takes practice. It is that simple.

The item choice is the most important aspect of this guide. According to the tier list Draven is ranked as a tier 3 champion due to his inability to catch blades in late game. I do not disagree with this analysis but in late game seldom is it necessary to catch the blades. Draven is able to pop Q and not catch a single blade and throw out devastating damage. As you play Draven you will see more and more how his Q ability is an extra and not a necessity.
