I think jayce is/could be a playmaker, i just played my first game and i just jumped in and killed 1 then flashed out and snipe from the back while the teams fight. we won easy

I just picked up Jayce and have a question:
how should i trade with the most efficiƫncy?

Should i either go into melee form (wait some time untill i'll be able to switch again)
Go Q-W, try to E if possible/beneficial > R > W - E+Q

Or Ranged form: W - E+Q > R > Q-W, E away

What about Doran's Shield as an alternative or aren't there any matchups this start option might be helpful and what about Hexdrinker?

Doran's shield is just too weak. Champions use it to get past bad early game and that is a point where Jayce excels and can gain an advantage. Hexdrinker can be decent situationally if you are having a lot of all-in trades with a heavy AP champion but I don't prefer it.

Yes, you're a pro player. No, your guide is not perfect.
1. Since your only crit item is your last item, it means for most games, it is useless. And your last item is only situational.
2. Hyper Charge gives Jayce maximum attack speed. That maximum attack speed is more than enough to burst one target down from 100-0.

  • The masteries in your cheat sheet are not the same as the masteries you added in its respective chapter. Its either Fury or Sorcery, tell us which one.

Thanks for pointing out my mistake! I have quickly remedied that for you :)

If you find anything else that I have done wrong in my guide, be sure to let me know!
