Masteries
Introduction
This is my first guide on MobaFire, so please try to stay kind for now!
Welcome to my first guide on my new favorite champion "
Elise, the Spider Queen"!
Elise is the newest champion in the League and is by far one of my favorites. She can jungle, she can just go full on mage, or my favorite, a powerful assassin (With ability power of course). This guide is to help your gameplay (and a bit of mine) with Elise. Please read the full guide before commenting.
*Note: This is my first guide, so how about instead of hitting that dislike button you can give me some advice instead? Thank you and enjoy the guide.
Pros / Cons
Here's a list of Elise's goods and bads, of course Elise (like every other champion) has her bads, but her goods definitely out weigh them.
- Good burst Damage
- Fairly good chase with both forms
- Spider form uses no mana, so you have a place to fall back to once you've run out
- Ranged AND melee
- Very fun to play!
- Good turret diving escape (When someone is diving you of course)
- Hard to play/get used to
- Fairly squishy (makes it hard to use spider form)
- Better late game, but can be easily harassed early on
- Slightly longer cooldowns than most (But you do have 6 abilities)
Runes

Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed 3 |

I chose a standard set of Assassin runes with a bit of armor to prevent immediate deaths in a team fight. Let's go a bit more in depth on to why I chose these runes.
Mark of Strength: I chose the mark of strength to give more damage when all your abilities are either void in this fight or on cooldown. It'll help with your simple beating down and not to mention it'll just help you burst those enemies.
Seal of Resilience: This is crucial to keep you from going down in a matter of seconds and will keep you alive long enough to kill your enemies. You are an assassin and you will need to jump in to the one squishy enemy and be able to take them down before they do you. In spider form you have to be up close and personal, so you'll need this extra armor.
Glyph of Potency: This is just for more ability power. An assassin needs to be able to kill their enemies as fast as possible, don't they? Right?
Quintessence of Swiftness: For some extra speed for all kinds of things, from chasing, to running away (let's hope you won't have to do this often), and just simply running to your teams aid or switching lanes.
Masteries
I chose these Masteries for some combined reasons to help ensure you a positive game. I decided to go 21-0-9, maxing in damage to make you an efficient assassin and leaving out some armor that you make up for with in game items. The Utility helps with speed and simple things like that to help you get to those fights faster than those enemies do.
Farming
Farming is key when playing Elise. Her build tends to be a bit more expensive because she should be able to maintain it well. Since she lanes solo (for best results) she should be able to get the amount of money she needs to beat down those other players, as long as you know how to farm.
Her W is the key component to help Elise farm safely and efficiently
Human form: You can use her Volatile Spiderling to take down a group of minions all at the same time. When you notice those minions are at low health fire off your skillshot at the right time to last hit that group. The only problem is that this is a mana eater and you'll need to use it wisely. Last case scenario, just last shot minions with your basic ranged attack.
Spider form: When you have enough spider minions at your side, activate your spider form and pull out that Skittering Frenzy! It'll increase your and your spiders attack speed dramatically and let you take out groups of minions without even doing much other than basic attacks. It will increase your lifesteal so you can keep fighting without other minions at your side. Just pop that W and fire away!
Summary
The rest for the guide is still in progress, I just wanted to get this out to you as soon as possible. The upcoming additions are... Alternate Items, Skill Sequence, Summoner Spells, and the most important... A jungle guide! Please tell me what you think of the features at the moment, and don't forget to rate!
Remember, more builds coming soon! Jungling and Hybrid! Even a bit of solo top might fit in!
