Hello and welcome to my Guide on how I thing Elise should play. Also I should note this is my first guide so please critique me in a way to help improve upon this.

Runes here have a bit of flavor as to what you want to do with Elise but for the purpose of this guide we will be using the following. Flat Magic pen reds, Mana regen per/lvl yellows, Flat AP blues and Attack speed Quints. The reason behind the the Quints being is Elise excels in her spider form which is basically a melee version of Teemo.

Masteries will be a standard AP champs mastery page with 21/0/9 with the mana regen masteries from the support tree. While Elise is a AP champ she has low mana regen while having slightly above average mana costs. So if you play to aggressive you will find yourself running out of mana really quickly and forcing yourself into a bad spot.

Items are similar to building a Teemo because they both can be auto attacking AP champs. Elise also benefits from this because in spider form she will deal X% more dmg based on her AP as bonus damage. Also while in spider form the more attacks her and her spider can get off more HP you can regen while using her Spider W.

Using the correct skills to maximize your effectiveness. Always when attempting a gank with Elise you need to lead with you E in human so you hold them in place. Ideally you want to be extremely close to who ever you are about to kill to minimize distance you need to rune and to avoid wasting your spider E to catch them. The most effective damage combo for Elise will look similar to this (Human) E>Q>W>R(Spider)W>Q With this combo your Spider abilities can easily be either order of Q>W or W>Q with Q being more effective with the less health your opponent currently has.

Pros
Strong Ganks, Very Mobile, Lots of Burst damage, Great Clearing skill in Human W

Cons
Easy to kill if caught off guard, Very Skill reliant
