Evelynn Build Guide by Calfurion

I like it. Nice and in depth. Great build. I know you've deen playing a long time, but why do you now carry DFG? Or a Rageblade? I play Evelynn extensively, and I must say that DFG and Rageblade are Core items. Im not trying to take anything away from you, I think this is a great build, Im just looking for some disscussion. Ive got Evelynn builds, and I love to theory-craft around Evelynn. So please enlighten me.

DFG is nice, but I feel Nashors tooth is a better option. The extra 10% cdr to me is more useful than the DFG nuke as I think it provides more of a DPS boost and makes it easier to restealth. Apart from that they have about the same stats (Nashors also has AS and costs 200g less). I mean, end game. How often have you needed more damage? you can do the amount that DFG does in a few seconds with Pain Spike. Plus you're not waiting around for DFG to come off CD.

As for Rageblade. It's nice, but late game it loses effectiveness imo. It's very rare that I stick around long enough to use 8 abilities etc. I usually open, use Ravage then use 2-4 pain spikes and they are usually dead. It can be useful for tougher champs but I would much rather a HP boost and slow from Ryjals or a massive AP boost from Zhonyas.

They are definitely both good alternatives, I just think that this way suits my play style a lot more, but I can see how they would work effectively aswell. I would maybe consider using those two if I was up against a lot of high HP champs like Cho and Alistar.

Made an account to comment on this build. I love it. First time using Evelynn was with this build. First game I did pretty bad. Second game I managed like 8/10/13. Jax kept taking all muh stuff. About to try it in 5s. I really like your suggestion about Smite/Ignite on the golems to gain a quick level on the other team. Thanks. :)

edit: It's nice no one takes Evelynn right away like Yi/Warwick and such. I'm only level 18 but I got XP boost and am doing 5s. Once I hit 20 I'll spend IP on runes, don't want to waste IP on Tier 2. After I hit 30 with a full runebook and masteries I bet that'll help a bunch, especially early-game.

Awesome guide, dunno why other can be much higher @ score, you explain a lot of things really usefull i bought evelyn recently and did a great job with your guide :)

8/1/8 First Game With This build (No Runes) and I only played her once before.
Great build, and after lvl 6-7 with Golem you can start raping if ur laning with an Harraser.
