Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Hello future Evelynn players. Having a bit of experience with her now I say that I love this champion. This is my guid to a hyper mobile ganker type Evelynn.
This might come to update when i played even more. :3
Pros / Cons
Pros of this build
- You'll be where you need or want to be.
- Heavy nuking power to take down AP or AD carries.
- Did I mention you were fast?
- Oh and farm, all the farms.
- Draws a lot of attention to herself quickly.
- Weak to stuns and rooting CC's.
- Squishy in early game.
I Lean heavily towards magic pen and movement speed here. The AP boost you get ain't high but will make a different in the early-mid game.
Typical AP Masteries in offence. Weirdly I go for movement speed more then anything else. It's what Evelynn wants and needs to deal with much of her troubles.
Core Items for this build would be:
- Boots of mobility
- Rylia's Crystal Scepter
- Lich Bane
Starting with boots and Health pots to have this build both starting and surviving. If possible stay in lane until you can get Sheen and Boots of Mobility, but if you have to head back home early make sure you get Sheen at least on the first trip home.
After you completed Your tier 2 boots and your Sheen you go for the Crestal Scepter. This is your form of CC and is a great help with the health bonus. You can hunt down champs and stay on their tail or have them on your tail for an eternity.
Finish your Lich Bane after this and you're all set.
After this point you build as you please. Abyssal Staff is a good choice, giving AP and Magic def. But you can rush for Deathcap or Hextech Gunblade. If you're having much trouble in the game building a Force of Nature is great. Magic def and more movement speed.
I think It's pretty intuitive after this point. If they have a really fed or hard to kill AD carry get a Thornmail.
Exhaust + Ignite = Evelynn best friends
These two will give you great survive and hunting possible.
Flash is also a possible choice but doesn't give you a great CC to help team fights. Cause whatever you do you can't win it all by yourself, even if you do really good.
Using this build you have to be light on your feat. If top lane is doing good you can go check if you can help mid get a kill for your team.
Among your abilities you max them in order: Utli > Hate Spike's > Dark Frenzy > Ravage.
But get an early point in Ravage on level 4 cause it might save your life with that little extra dps.
To gank certain champs make sure if they have a stun ability that it's on cooldown or that they are low enough health to be dealt with even with their stun. Anything that utilizes slowing CC you save Dark Frenzy until they use it. Dark Frenzy Removes any slow effect you have on yourself.
Basically you go in quickly, hurt or kill your target and leaves as fast as you came. Turn invisible and linger if you feel they're stupid enough to risk staying or if you're semi low on health go farm a free lane or jungle.
Any time you have your ultimate you should look for a close champ to gank. If no ones close enough stay and farm.
A PRO TIP: Keep an eye on the minimap so you know where most champions are, your team and enemy.
I like to thank those who read this short guide to Evelynn.
To show you that it works, here are some recent games I played with this builds core idea.
