Because i dont know how to get the "Wriggle's Lantern" marked as "reccomende to get sold" and change it with the "Berserker's Greaves" i tell you to keep the "Berserker's Greaves" till the end.

This isn't a normal guide because i dont have time for an extensive guide and dont take it to serious considering my opinion that everybody needs to find his own way of playing every hero he/she likes. I wont even explain greatly why i choose runes, masteries, items or anything else.

Farmin is the most important thing in every game which is based on DotA. You really need to farm well to get your money and to get your items as fast as you can. Because Jayce dependent on his items his strength rises and falls with the items.

Marks: Greater Mark of Desolation because i prefer to harrass the other toplaner.

Seal: Greater Seal of Resilience for making you more tanky at the beginning.

Glyph: Greater Glyph of Warding same reason as above.

Quintessence : Greater Quintessence of Strength for harassing more effective than without.

Because i like to play Jayce as an harras boy which is extremely strong in the early game i decided to go for an offensive tree 21/9/0.
You can even take more HP at the beginning by changing the defensive tree to Durability and veteran's scars by reducing Resistance, Hardiness and Vigor.
But as mentioned in the introduction it is your decision and your style how to play.

I didnt want to spend so much time in this guide because i think to best voted guides for playing Jayce on mobafire explain very well how to play him and what needs to be done with him even how and why.
