Introduction

OK i cannot stress this enough when you use this character you must ALWAYS keep in mind you are as SQUISHY as a Tomato. always stay away from the killers. It is very easy to say "OMG he is low health let me run up to him and kill him" <= bad idea. No onto my choice of runes.

Runes

First of your mana is terrible as this Character so you kinda need some sort of mana so that's the reason for the Greater Seal of Clarity. As for the Focus You would want to be able to spam the Piltover Peacemaker as much as possible. Also you want to be able to penetrate your enemies and kill them like they don't have Armour.

Items

First you start off your build with one Meki Pendent and two health potions. at this point you will wanna go top or bottom with someone else and hide in the grass so your head shot meter goes up double the speed. You will want to harass the other champions, with Piltover Peacemaker, as much as possible too so they do not get over confident and kill you, because you are EXTREMELY SQUISHY!

During this first part you will notice your mana will go down really fast so when you hit 500 gold go get your chalice of harmony, so your mana regeneration is enough so you can stay out in combat for a longer period of time.

Then you will want to get the Boots of Swiftness, so you can get away from enemy champions. Buying these Drastically increases your survivability.

Next you could buy the Pick axe unless your are raking in gold then might as well get the last whisper. This way you can penetrate 40% Armour and get 40 more attack so now you can actually start dealing damage instead of be running away as soon as you see an enemy champion look at you funny, BUT YOU ARE STILL SQUISHY!

The Phantom Dancers have multiple uses.. 1) movement: it is not a drastic increase but it may just be enough to increase your survivability being paired with your Boots of Swiftness. 2)Attack speed: this paired with your Last Whispers Armour Penetration will help you actually score kills, or Kill Steal if your cool.... 3)30% critical chance this goes along with #2 helps you score kills/Kill Steals..

The Bloodthirster Is a Survivability weapon it helps you stay out there in your lane with the horde of champions running around but still keep in mind YOU ARE SQUISHY!!

Madred's Bloodrazor Is a good all around end game weapon for its (little) Armour boost its attack and attack speed boost and it especially helps with its passive for you actually be able to be score some kills.

YOU ARE SQUISHY DO NOT TRY TO BE A TANK!

Summoner Spells

I chose these spells Primarily for Survivability and helping out team members. usually if people are Destroying a turret you want to get there as soon as possible.

Skill Sequence

The reason why these skills appear to be all over the place is because they are essential for survival. The Piltover Peacemaker is an amazing for harassing enemies and keeping them away as i had said above. The .90 Caliber Net is a great way to make quick escapes when pointed toward an enemy so you can push your self away and make for an easy escape. The Yordle Snap Trap is the best for stopping ganks. You can place it in the grass next to the lane you are in to stop people from Destroying Caitlyn.

Summary

When playing as this Champion you are on of the squishiest players in the game do not be stupid!

I hope this guide helps you play as Caitlyn. :D
