This is my guide to Fiddlesticks. Obviously. Let's start, shall we?

Runes are pretty self explanatory, typical AP carry runes. Marks and quints of insight for the great MPeN, seals of clarity for the amazing Mp5, glyphs of celerity for the CDR.

Also pretty typical AP carry masteries. Not much I can say about those.

I like to start Doran's Ring since I play Fiddle in the Middle, it's surprisingly powerful. Rush a Codex for the CDR, since CDR is amazing on fiddle. Abyssal for that extra oomph on your magic penetration, with just abyssal and your passive you have already passed your enemies base magic resist! Everything else is pretty self explanatory.

I start Dark Wind in mid because you can get some amazing burst if you can get a couple lucky bounces. Try not to use Dark Wind to farm unless you're being pushed or you need CS's. If you want to use it for harrasment, save it until it's just them and about two ranged minions. You will almost always get atleast 2 bounces onto them, which silences and deals a good bit of damage. Fear and drain the rest of the way for an amazing harrassing and finishing combo.

I take Flash to pull off amazing stunts with your ultimate. You will see a description on that later in the Playstyle section. Teleport to help you keep the pressure on in mid.

As I said before, try not to push. Get CS's, take advantage of enemy mistakes, play it smart. You start getting really really OP at around Abyssal. Take mid if you can, if not side lane against somebody with great CC or amazing burst.

Your most common combo is going to be dark wind-run up to them-fear-immediately drain. If they aren't at 1/4 of their health already, you're doing something wrong! Most people will run out of the range of your drain or use a CC. If you're comboing somebody with CC that will stop your drain, just run away about the time your fear is about to finish, so they can't do ANYTHING to you!

Now, onto your ultimate. This is the ability that makes fiddlesticks the gamechanger who he is today. One thing that is completely absolutely necessary is to NEVER BE SEEN while casting your ultimate!! People WILL run up to you and just interrupt the 1.5 second channel time. Try casting it from inconspicuous brushes. One strategy to do is if somebody is too far away from the brush, start ulting in the brush then right after your ultimate finishes channeling, flash into the middle of all of them for a little more distance! This needs to be done quickly for maximum effect. Directly after you ult in, dark wind their healer/caster dps, fear/drain their AD carry to prevent them from messing your team up.
