Twisted fate Mid or side lane (pick your card... get it?)

When heading mid with twisted fate the obvious choice is to last hit creeps with either stacked deck or red card. Red card will also give a splash which you can use to harass adjacent target champions. *Note, Use blue card if you start to drain mana too heavily as it will give a return continue this note throughout your game*

When harassing an enemy mid champion Red Card from pick a card is your obvious choice with three stacks on your Deck lock in your red card and try and smack it on your opposing champion for hits both skills (Stacked Deck AND Pick-A-Card) You will stack FOUR lots of damage. Stacked deck bonus, Regular attack damage, Bonus magic damage from Pick-a-card also the addition of your attack damage from red card. This can hurt enemy champions quite hard bringing you chances for early kills keep in mind ganks from destiny at level six. Lock your gold card and gate behind them. (The stun is better when you don't have three stacks of Stacked Deck also it helps friendly champions beat up on them)*Note; When going for a kill on mid try to lock them down with your gold card*


Laning with an ally.

You become a police riot squad member your job is crowd control.
Red Card to harass. The splash damage being able to hit multiple targets is... Wonderful! A powerful burst champion; Ryze, Xin Zhao or anyone of that nature is perfect harass an enemy down to half health lock Gold Card for a stun and pound them to death as a team. After 5 seconds your pick a card is back up try and get the other champion or just knock out his health and force him to retreat. This will give both you and your partner;
1) Lane Control
2) Will allow you to get more experience compared to your opposition.
*Note crowd control should be thrown from the brush as much as possible. The slow from Red Card will give you the advantage to back off and avoid counter harass*

In any case Build your Items as per the specs *Note Madred's Bloodrazor will take down tanks thanks to the 4% health reduction effect as well as DPS and Caster's a few hits whilst locked down by gold card will cause no talking back* if you're having a hard time getting close for your harass on enemy champions who often start with boots like; Jax, especially as his leap strike after your slow can be dangerous.*Note building Boots of Swiftness will result in easy kills turning Twisted Fate's slow movement speed weakness into chasing ability*


Buffs.

Ancient Golem buff is wonderful for Twisted at about level 11 it is easy enough to take it out with very little time. Thanks to Gold card and Red Card -2 red cards should kill both of the little lizards-
Ancient Golem buff will reduce your cooldowns (derrr) this is obviously useful for Destiny and Gate but less obvious is its inherit additional rape with pick-a-card with cool-down reduction glyphs and Golem buff, at level 11-18 your cool-down drops to 3 seconds (near enough) This results in a massive harassment issue for the enemy team with Gold Card on single enemies giving a near permanent stun perfect for repeatedly smashing them in the face with your stacked deck. Also VS a pack of enemies either attacking or retreating when... morons decide to stand in a group attacking your tank simply lock your red card and hit ALL of them this will allow you to dish out more damage, or give your tank the ability to run like a *****. Repeated slows benefit your whole team and as the enemy numbers dwindle you can lock Gold Card for single targets.

Lizard Elder buff.
If you decide to grab this buff you're in for some fun its a good choice provided you have the time and it doesn't result in any loss of push. This will be part of your Destiny combo. Recall to your base after acquisition to refuel your mana. Lock your gold card. Gate behind the best situational kill (preferably low health or over extended) jump them with your Gate and hit with gold card. Your normal attack, Lizard buff and added Pick-A-Cards will do the rest (also obvious support from allies)

Have fun with Twisted Fate and his 52 card spring (Card trick reference sorry for the couple of puns but its just so easy.)

With this guide you'll be the supreme jack of hearts on the field if not the king!
