Section 1




Hi, lets start with this guide. This guide is very effective if done correctly, you should easily be able to destroy the other team, if you are unable to secure early-mid game, you will carry it towards the end if you play correctly.

This is going to be a detailed guide, very long (i love long stuff). The above champions are recommended, i will explain why soon enough. Also, i will make sure to show other viable champions.

NOTES:
--+I skipped 2 sections to publish this guide early, i will add them over the next couple days.
--+I will add more sections, Alternative Items, Alternative Spells, ect.
--+As i see fit that one champ gets nerfed that is useless, i will remove him and explain why.



Section 2



So why did i choose these 5 champions out of the other viable champions? I will answer it here.

Shaco

They say that death isn't funny. It isn't, unless you're Shaco. He is Valoran's first fully-functioning homicidal comic; he jests until someone dies, and then he laughs. The figure that has come to be known as the Demon Jester is an enigma. No one still alive knows from whence he came. There are rumors, but one must not speak of them too loudly lest Shaco come to jest. It seems unimaginable that such a threatening figure would be allowed to remain at large. There are those that believe he is an assassin for hire, left to roam until he is needed. Others believe that Shaco is simply too clever, evading authorities at every turn. Still others believe that he is the demonic manifestation of humanity's dark urges, and therefore cannot be stopped.

Shaco is one of the best, if not the best at sunfire capes. Shaco has skills that can help him to continue hitting his opponent with capes.

Lets start, Shaco's deceive helps you to get closer to them, and you auto crit, even without dps items, it still does plenty of damage, and don't forget he jumps to the enemy.

Jack in the box is obvious, it fears and hits it for a certain time, giving you about 2 seconds more of cape time, and is also good to place in middle of ganks to help you.

Two-shiv is also obvious, it slows them, gives about 5 seconds of cape time unless the y run in the other direction unexpected.

Now Shaco's Ultimate is the best. Shaco's clone gets all the sunfire capes, making it maximum damage output.


Anumu

Perhaps one of the oddest champions in the League of Legends is the yordle known as Amumu. His life before joining the League remains unknown - especially to Amumu. All he remembers is that he woke up alone inside a pyramid within the Shurima Desert. He was entwined in mummy wrappings and he could not feel his heart beat. Furthermore, he felt a deep sadness that he could not entirely explain; he knew he missed his parents, though he could not remember who they were. Dropping to his knees, Amumu wept into his bandages. No matter what he did, it seemed he could just never stop his tears or sadness. Eventually he got up off his knees to mope and wander the world, making his way to the League; it would seem that even the raw power of unleashed emotions can be used to benefit the plans of summoners.

Next up is anumu. Anumu should always get golem buff, his cry is even better than sunfire capes because it is a percent of their health, easy to bring down certain tanks. Remember that when your sad mummy uses despair, it consumes his mana, that is what makes him cry.

What else is better, his bandage toss, which stuns a single enemy gives you and your team more cape time with that very very unlucky champion.

Your w is despair, it was mentioned above as the main reason for adding this champion to the team.

The mummy's tantrum does damage, like a cape except it has a cooldown, it is good to help farm though, and harass enemies more.

His ult is your team fight winner, use it at the correct time, it is aoe, everyone caught in it gets hit plus u can move with your cape, your team will have lots of cape time with the enemy.



Twitch

The city-state of Zaun is a twisted realm of science and magic run amok. The air is choked with pollution from the countless factories and magic labs that spew waste into the sky. As polluted as the sky is in Zaun, its subterranean levels are far worse. The waste products of Zaun's many different scientific and magical endeavors have flowed together in its sewers, mixing into a toxic and mysterious concoction. Rising up from this alchemical nightmare is a single plague rat. Unlike his lesser evolved cousins, Twitch (as he calls himself) can talk and read and interact with the world as well as any of the other sentient beings in Valoran. Twitch has come to the League of Legends to represent himself the only one of his kindon the Fields of Justice.

While Twitch's true motivations remain known only to him, his prowess in the arena is a matter of public record. As a creature of the sewers, he is able to blend in with the shadows and ambush unwary victims of his choosing. He has collected a significant quantity of the toxic soup that collects in Zaun's underground, and he coats his crossbow with it. The effect of being shot with one of Twitch's crossbow bolts is extremely debilitating. Even without his poison, he will outright infect those he chooses to attack, as is the nature of a plague rat. As an act of desperation, Twitch may rapidly unleash a flurry of bolts at his foes. He madly peppers a focused area, though with mercifully reduced damage.



Good old twitch, i find that he is fun to use, unless the other team gets sunfire capes, if they do normally its one person, go kill someone that doesn't have oracle.

Twitch's ambush easily lets you follow your enemies unnoticed with your capes, i have killed several people like this, who just ran in circles not knowing why they were being hit.

Your Debilitating Poison basically is your slow, use it in team fights if they run, even if they don't it helps to keep them in battle longer, more cape time.

Your Expunge spells is good to finish those who are running away, it syncs to your ult.

Your ultimate lets you hit multiple enemies, so you can easily still kill a couple of people, even though your not dps, i recommend aiming for their dps carry, love killing Ashe with it.


Mordekeiser

During the winter solstice, on the darkest day of the year, a being like no other emerged from the forgotten alleyways of Noxus. Standing eight feet tall, and concealed within a razor-sharp armored shell, he came to be known only as Mordekaiser. The nature of what lies beneath his carbonized carapace is a popular subject of speculation. Many allege that he is a mortal man with a heart that has hardened to iron. Others insist that he is a dark specimen of the undead. But there are some who whisper warnings that he is merely a foreshadowing of something terrible and unprecedented yet to come. Despite the public conjecture and curiosity, none have discovered what lies beneath his alloyed exterior. What is known is this: Mordekaiser arrived unannounced at the Institute one day and, with a rasp that crept ice up the spines of all within earshot, requested to join the League of Legends.

Upon glimpsing his fearful visage, most keep their distance, fortunately unaware that his touch bears a sinister scourge. Those who stumble within his grasp fall victim to incurable maladies. In fact, Mordekaiser seems mystically attuned to sickness, as if it feeds and comprises part of his chilling essence. He now stalks the slums of Noxus, drawn to the plague-ridden and diseased. However, there is something in his clever tactics, something in his noble stance, something in the tone of his unearthly commands that has led many to believe that Mordekaiser is more than just a foot soldier. Some see the distinguishing characteristics of a general. While many have learned to accept the evidence of this unsettling possibility, a lingering question keeps them wary at the witching hour: If Mordekaiser is a general, what nightmarish legion lurks at his command?


Basically, with mordekaiser, i can summarize this in one paragraph, you have skills that hit multiple enemies, a skill that increases you or your teammate's armor and magic res and your ult which is a good finisher, after using it you have a super powerful enemy to help you, especially if it was a nice master yi.


Cho'gath

There is a place between dimensions, between worlds. To some it is known as the Outside, to others it is the Unknown. To most, however, it is called the Void. Cho'gath is a creature born of the Void, a thing whose true nature is so horrific most will not speak its name. Its fellows have been poking at the dimensional walls for a crack, a way into Runeterra, where they can visit their own personal paradise of horror upon the world. A way in they have found, as something dark stirs in Icathia, perverting the summoning rituals of the League to allow the presence of Cho'gath. Fortunately, the power of the summoning has chained Cho'gath to the League of Legends, where it uses its Voidborn abilities to help decide the fate of the world. It knows what it would choose, if given half the chance.

Cho'gath is a horrifying opponent. It is capable of impaling not only its enemies, but those standing nearby, on vorpal spikes. It can also cause the earth beneath its foes to rupture, causing an explosion that sends them flying. It can unleash an otherworldly scream that not only harms the flesh of terrestrial creatures, but also silences them for a time. However, and perhaps most terrifying, Cho'gath not only drains the life from those it kills, it can consume them whole, growing ever larger. There are those that wonder if there is a limit to how large the beast can become.

"Woe betide the day when Cho'gath grows weary of the League."



Well with cho'gath, play defensive early game, than your just big, you hit lots of people with sunfire capes.

If your good with cho'gath, you will be able to time a perfect rupture in a gank, if you are able to knock 2-3 people up, they are basically dead, if you knock 5, you will just destroy them.

You Feral Scream is a huge weapon, you can stop high hitting mage's attacks by silencing them, this is one of your many contributions

Your vorpal spikes basically help you farm minions, though i recommend it early game, it is nearly useless late game.

Your feast + capes- tons of health points, you are pretty hard to kill :P



Some other good champions:

Shen, taunt is nice in team fights, especially if the enemies are running away.

Evelyn can act like twitch, she has a stun added but does not have a slow, i recommend Evelyn only to those who are extremely well with her, I've only use capes on her a couple times and it is extremely difficult to play, twitch is easier and more fun.

Garen, nice ult ahhhh, he is extremely strong :P, i am sure i don't have to explain him.

Sion is decent, he has a shield which blocks a couple attacks/spells, and a stun, if you can farm really well, you will have loads of hp.

Rammus is extremely good at this, though he is one of the most difficult to play early game, especially if you are not used to him, though when used correctly, you can help your team chase down the enemy champs quickly.

Singed is doable, he has a fling and a slow, i always like poison, at lv 3 poison, you should farm easily.

Nasus is a hard champion to kill, and his slow is very painful, i always hate it when he uses his ult and gets that much life steal.



Pretty much it for champs, i will see if i can discover others, i have played capes with nearly every single champion, some are good some are difficult, some are just right out bad.... and yes i used the mages :P

Section 4---Strategy



#1 Farm as much as you can if you can get early lane control, you have no problem, if not hope for the best, normally the peeps that do best in lane build capes faster

#2 For mid, Use Mordekaiser or twitch, i recommend mordekaiser because he simply dominates mid lane. For twitch though, enemies are paranoid, but if you are going against a long range dps such as Ashe and Teemo, they may easily counter you depending on their skill.

#3 Side Lane Options, Cho'gath + twitch, Cho'gath + anumu, Anumu +twitch, Shaco + cho'gath, Shaco + Anumu. Well basically, shaco and twitch can't be together, or it is just simply madness, you will find them feeding (unless they are going against squishies, shaco starts with fortitude)

#4 Jungling with Shaco, well, basic shaco jungle, start for what works with your mysteries and runes, i recommend playing practice games and experiment with jungling shaco. If you jungle, have 3 people be around you in case of a gank
one behind the buff, one at the lake, one at the close by bush near golem, do not let them go back to lane until you see enemy champs.

#5 If you are dominating a lane, and see another struggling, go gank that lane, especially if your shaco or twitch, normally the top or bottom lane struggles, mordekaiser normally dominates mid lane.

#6 With the first cape, you should being playing aggressive, keep in mind the ones that are missing in action (MIA).

#7 When in team ganks, get as close as you can and spam your skills, your capes will do extreme amounts of damage, your spells also helps.
---+With mordekaiser, you need your white energy
---+with shaco, your twin, two shiv slow, deceive to get close, jitb for fear if they really are engaged.
---+Anumu, stun, despair, ult... you know this
---+twitch slow and damage....
---+cho'gath silence, rupture, huge guy they can't go around...

#8 Late game, if you stay together around one person... each having 3+ capes at least, that is 15+ capes, that is...600+ damage a second (not including shaco's twin), and its not one second that you die, you have lots of seconds around that single person.

#9 When you are getting ganked, survive, wait for your team, go back to kill. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS SURVIVE.

#10 Finally, stay together, get buffs, push, dragon is important, it is worth 2 champ kills at least.


Section 7---Anti sunfire capes and how to counter them



There are 4 ways to counter.

#1) High- Ability Power team (ryze and annie, if its just one person hitting each of you for burst damage, not really a big problem, but if they have loads of them, than it could be a problem) Banshee veil people, obviously... If you want to, you can get force of nature for mordekaiser, its good on him. It basically stops their mages completely.
---+ Annie: Smite the guerrilla, only if someone on your team got smite.
---+ Ryze: He has 1 set of bursting damage and a snare, you can easily counter with banshee veil and high magic-res
---+ Other mages: Counter as needed, they shouldn't be difficult.

Note---+ Mages do not have high hp, using someone's ability to stun such as anumu, move closer to mages and they die easily


#2)Armor Penetration, Madred Bloodrazor. Only person to worry about is if they have tryn with endless, or an ashe that is untouchable Remember that if they go dps, they die too fast to do any real damage.

#3)Tank Team, most people don't use full tanks, go for dps/mage, than slowly target one tank and kill.
---+Magic Resist team. Have someone who is doing well to get abyssal, it is good on anumu, if needed other magic pen items will work fine

#4) Ahhh the fun thing, only happened couple times, i got countered with another sunfire-cape team.
---+Most people play defensive when they are doing capes, if you see that, harass hard to get early kills, try to cut off exp and don't let them take any turrets.
---+ Get dragon whenever possible, job is to get more capes than the other team faster
---+Stay as a group after a couple of capes, chances are you hit them higher if you have more capes.
---+Push as much as possible.

---Read this important note---+ Should go all capes with shaco, seeing his twin gets the cape too.
