As my main champion is Graves i decided to create a guide for him.Not that he is difficult,but i would like to give you some advice that i hope,will help you.
About my runes on Graves,i use Armor Penetration and Attack Damage marks,armor seels magic resistance glyphs and armor pene quints.With these runes you can be more aggresive as you will have lots of armor penetration and attack damage.
About the items.Start with boots and 3 pots.Your next items should be 2 doran's blade and berseker's gloves.BF sword is next and vampiric scepter.Of course bf sword must become Infinity Edge and next item should be Phantom Dancer.Bloodthirster and Black Cleaver are next and your final item should be Guardian Angel or Quicksilver Sash/occasional.
Buckshot:Buckshot is Graves's strongest skill.This is the skill he uses for burst.So i max it first so i can easily kill big waves of minions and burst the enemies the same time.
Smokescreen:Smokescreen is very useful at teamfights.I take one time at 4lvl kai leave it there until 12lvl.It can be used to get away if you are being chased or to go into a fight,because the enemies cant see you.
Quickdraw:Quickdraw is the skill Graves uses to get away or get into a fight(as Smokescreen).It grants you attack speed and with quickdraw you can get into thick walls.Really useful is that its cooldown is reduced every time he hits an enemy.
Collateral Damage:Graves's ulti.It does tons of damage,and it can hit enemies in a con after the ulti range that deals less damage than inside the range.It is really useful on fights and especially if all enemies get hit by it.
True Grit(PASSIVE):When Graves hit an enemy unti he is granted with bonus armor and magic resistance that stucks up to 10 times.
For summoner spells on Graves i use Ignite and Flash.
Flash:It is very useful for "getaways"
Ignite:You can use it to damage your enemies that are low and also it reduces the heal regeneration making heal not so good.
Ghost:I woould not recommend it,as Flash is much better than it
Heal:It is really useful,and you can use it instead of ignite.
Cleanse:Cleanse is very good spell when you have enemies with lots of aoe stuns.Like Amumu,Ashe,Malphite etc.
Smite:Only if you go jungle
Exhaust:It is a good spell,but usually support choose it.
Clairvoyance:No(only if you play support ;D)
Creeping / Jungling
I have jungled one time with Graves and i can say it went very well.I went 6/0/5.I wouldnt recommend jungle if you dont have the appropriate runes.Graves does pretty easy jungle because of Buckshot and Quickdraw and you can use Smokescreen for your ganks.
