I have only lost with this glorious build 3 times out of the 25 I've played.

Very nice build! Just played it today and went about 15-2-9. Guardian angel saved me from a certain death 3 times I think. Best build evar!

@theleprechaun94 First 3 build items are Merc Treads, Cape, Spirit Visage. USUALLY the game is done at this point and you win. IF it continues on you select what you need from that list of tried and true options. ie. wow their fiddlesticks hurts me a bit too much so I'll buy Force of Nature next. or that Tryn is acquainting everything with a world of hurt so I'll buy Thornmail! Gotta think here! no build is/or should be the same every game.

so by the end of this all, what are the items you want in your inventory? there are about 7 different ones you get, so what do you remove? which do you keep?

"I've recently been debating removing Thornmail altogether from this build as your damage mitigation makes that item better suited to higher HP champs. I'm going to do some testing and get back to you on that question. Main idea is if they are not hitting me for a lot they won't be taking much of Thornmail's Passive Damage."

leagueoflegends.wikia.com says "Magic damage returned by Thornmail is calculated before damage reduction from armor. This means you can be taking less damage than Thornmail is returning."

This is a good build. +1. I like offensive build garen more but thats just me and, there aren't any good builds like that. I've played this using offensive garen mentality and it works ok. I only play unranked arranged 3v3 though.

Good build! I understand that this is more of a tank build, but it would be nice to add a little more dmg items (Ex:Youmuu's Ghostblade)

@Jaigar Great to hear about the success. In the build I suggest getting Frozen Mallet if youre dominating. Once you have the core (MT, SC, SV) you are golden.
Very interesting about the utility tree I'll have to give that a go.
