When you start the game go for boots so that you can control the field from a very low level. At the start of game when holding a lane, with or without another player with you. try to just kill minions until you're level 4 or higher. By doing this you can jump to the champ, and hit E, doubling your damage and then using ghost and ignite to keep up and kill them. don't be a bold Yi and run into battle every time. Look at what is going on and farm the minions to feed to weapon build. This will make to a fed player and be a good late game ganker/ solo champ. around level 10 you should be up to the Infinity Edge in your build. Having life steal is a big player with this Yi build because it will keep you a live when you get attacked and attack other players. Remember to pop your alt and your E right before you run into battle, saving your jump attack for the final blow so you can keep up, or kill steal.
