I don't particularly like Elder Lizard on Noc, this doesn't mean you can't use it on him. One of my friends really does though and it works for him. I use Nocturne as an "Executor" in teamfights. I finish off a target then move on to the next. The lifesteal from the Flare really does help me achieve this in a fight. If you want to build damage and are behind Lizard is the way to go as it is a more reliable damage source than the Flare. Like I said this is my opinion.

Hey mate like your guide I have a few things to say I'm only a bronze so feel free to ignore but I prefer lizard elder over flare because flare takes to much farm I've used both and just do better with lizard another debate is I went blind vs another nocturne and I went lizard he went feral and I came out ontop maybe skill who knows then again I do build pure damage so that may be the difference I will try your build for the next few days and let you know what I think of it and how I think you can improve try adding in a recommended build, you know a build that no matter is what you normally build 8/10 times maybe a match up section as well

It really does depend on what your team is, look if you have tanks and you can afford to be more of a carry Noc, or go offtank if there is not that much tanks, but sometimes you will have to full tank Nocturne.

Hey! So, one quick question: Do you build Nocturne as an assassin, off-tank, or a mixture of both?

I would put your second skill point into your w for the huge 20% attack speed increase then leave the rest off till late game.
