The runes of master yi is used to make him survive more time and give damage to gain a lot of kills.

the masteries is focus on damage and def! to make him stay live for more time and give more damage!

the itens of master yi was chose to make him capable of kill and stay alive because of his life steal! when i play with master yi next to the end on critical hi gave 1k of damage and with bloodthrist he recive about 20% of his damage!
so hi kill faster steal life and when you kill a enemy using his ult every skill of him have the cooldown reset, and making more easier to his kill more!

The Spells have to be used, the both skills is used to kill your enemys exhaust to make them slow and give them a lot of reductions and ignite to give damage on them!
On my opnion you have to give some hits on the enemy (like 2 or 3) then use exhaust and continue hitting them when they are on low life use ignite to kill them and receve the money!

that skill sequence can be change( not recomended) but you can ajust on according of your necessity, for exemplo if your enemy focus on you and kill you fast focus on meditate because beyond the meditate heal you he give you armor and magic resist on the using of the skill!

To make a good play with master yi you will need help because master yi dont have much life and dont have much armor so you have to kill your enemys fast and before the focus or even note you!
so your team work will be necessary to make you stronger and be feded!

Pros master yi is faster on atack and on speed, he is strong and his skills are very good, to make him kill isnt necessary much mana!

Cons he doesnt have much life and armor, the skills of him have a great cooldown and he receve a lot of damge from enemys with great ability power, and he is very weak against champions who give blind, stun, silence and etc!

you can fight against everyone on 1x1! you will have problens with some guys like JAX TEEMO AND LEBLANC! But you can kill them jax is a big problem because of his dodge so on him you have to gank and use ignite and exaust (i advise you to change 1 of your phanton dancer for one sword of divine, and before you atack jax activate the sword and kill jax), teemo his is a big problem because he cause blind on you so gank he because he dowsnt have much life you will kill him in 2 or 3 hits so you will kil him before he could use blind on you!
leblanc is a really big problem because is very hard to kill this ***** so atack her to her run away but dont chase and everytime that she appear no mini-map gank her and make sure your exhaust is available because when you use alpha strike to hit her you will use exhaust and highlander and wuju style to kill her on 2 or 3 atack because is not a good ideia make a long fight against leblanc!

maybe some times you will se my build and say i cant kill this guys! because its true, my build isnt perfect its very good but isnt perfect, some times you will have to make a bit changes on this build! for exemplo against GOOD jax change phantor for one divine sword to him dont dodge of your atacks but on the most games this build will make you the top killer! And another tip when you fight against guys who have a lot of life and armor and they give a lot of damage on you and you barely can make a kill change one of your itens(this i will leave on your strategy) for some life because armor against good guys doesnt make difference!(i indicate warmogh) but is up to you!

During the game you may have to change the build! like if the enemy have a very good tank you will have to buy armor penetration, or if the enemy have a good AP you will have to buy some magicc resist and if you are die a lot o AP buy a [*] Guardian Angel!
