In the past I've tried to play Tank Kayle (as per recommended build) and DPS Kayle (which is probably the optimum build for Kayle), but I wasn't happy with either. The role I found most satisfying to play with Kayle is Support, which means leaning towards Ability Power, and lowering your cooldowns to allow for constant harrasing and healing. It makes no difference whether the carry is a caster, dpser or tank, all I make sure is that I can deal high dmg with reckoning, slow often with reckoning, heal and MS boost my carry, and make sure I can assist him to be as aggro as he can be - which means help him initiate or extract him when required. This build is not meant to solo. This build is meant to harrass, heal your carry and for exercising lane control by out-experiencing your opponents. Expect stats of 2-2-20 or somesuch, with at least a dozen interventions. Make sure you are in every team battle.

The skill rank order is not set in stone. Depending on who's in your lane, you may become a healer, although more often than not, I max reckoning and my ulti as quick as possible, and leave rightous fury for last - once I have a Nashor.

The flash is a neccesity, since you should not be casting intervention on yourself very often.

The item list is generally in the order of purchase. The Veil and Aegis is an either/or, depending on what will help the game most, and it is sometimes required before Rylai's stick of awesomeness [edit: or even as your first item after boots].

Thoughts welcome. I'm still considering tweaking the runes somewhat, and not sure whether there is a better substitute for Nashors - it is a well-balanced item, but perhaps taking away more from this build than it offers.
