Well...

This build is made and designed to gain ap from nowhere. You´ll get ap from overcaped cdr, from the gathering storm and from mana regen.

When i started to design this build i wanted to play a real support style (lulu, soraka, nami) but having the damage of an AP karma. And then this build was born.

Summon Aery: provide a good poke to enemies and an almost instantly shield to your allies.

Nimbus Cloak: as you will have a low cd ult (even lower if you poke enemies) the rune will proc a lot. Its really usefull in many ways.
For poke: R, nimbus cloak proc, speeds you and then can reach enemies that are running away to slow them with empowered Q.
For saving a teamate: R, nimbus cloak proc, speeds you and then you can reach allies that are far from you faster to shield them with empowered E
For saving yourself: R, cloak proc and speeds you. Then you can choose between Q or E to save yourself

Trascendence: thats where you start to gain free AP. With your build, you have 85% cdr (25% base cdr from runes + 50% items + 10% if they let you the blue). That means that you gain 80 AP just from leftover CDR. (blue buff applies here )

Gathering storm: just free ap for playing a long game


Future´s market: allows you to get your build faster. Its a cheap build (except rabadon) so the sooner you get full build the better.

Cosmic Insight: we are looking for max cdr to spam our abilities (don't worry about the mana, now we will go with it)

Another 10% for free (10% trascendence + 10% from here + 5% cosmic insight), plain ap and armor (or magic resistance) for bot

The build is simple.
Ardent for the healing boost, cdr, ap and mana regen.
Redemption for the aoe heal, cdr, and mana regen.
Eye of the watchers for the wards (obviously), cdr, ap and mana regen.
Ionian boots of lucidity. Boots of cdr. That easy.
Rabadon´s deathcap. A really nice amount of ap for the late game.

Athene´s unholy grail. Here it is. The other hidden trick of free AP. The pasive dissonance will give another 70 ap from the 350% mana regen you got from the ardent, redemption eye of wards and athene´s itself (blue buff doesn´t apply here).
Also the healing is great. As karma you should be spaming all the time so you always will have the passive stacked.


AND MOST IMPORTANT. WITH THIS HUGE AMOUNT OF CDR THE MANA REGEN IS 21.1 PER SECOND WITHOUT BLUE BUFF SO SPAM. SPAM. SPAM. SPAM THEM TO HELL AND BACK!!!!

Here you can see the simulation of a real 43 minutes ranked game i played. We got 3 infernal, 2 oceans, baron and nashor. On the picture im full build with both buffs (nashor and elder), blue buff and elixir of witchcraft. But as you can see im on a suppor build not an ap one.
