Have you considered going 0/9/21 for Nimble ?

I think it could be an option, but I haven't tried it in-game yet. Not sure if one mastery is worth 21 points in Utility though.

Awesome guide, I enjoyed reading it, though there was one guide (Nerd Chieftain) i've read with an interesting skill combo that im somewhat interested as to why other guides don't mention: E -> R -> aoe things.

In your guide, you said to use it last, but in many cases, by the time i've used my other abilities in that sequence, they've all either running away, i'm near death/dead, or they're all dead. In the case that i'm nearly dead or the team fight is still roaring, I contribute a small amount of damage and push in some weird non-calculated direction since i'm already in the middle of all of them (no distance traveled).

I like how starting with E while im waiting in a bush startles my gank victims and also helps me get to them faster, but I also like how the 3 second timer for it pauses/something (have not tested this) and the E still works after unleashing the R, which I get to choose in which direction it goes and where it lands, so I can position it somewhat behind something, and they get feared from me backwards, and I push them even further, dealing more burst damage in the process b/c of the distance traveled while the E was active. Did you ever consider this ability combo? Just curious and would appreciate an explanation.

In 5v5s though, I agree more with the Q>W>E ability build more than the chieftain's Q>E>W, because sustain and coming in with sufficient health is important to me.

Anyways, still a great guide, +1! I'm a growing player, still in the teen lvls, hoping to learn the ropes quickly (and from my lvl 30 friends)

I haven't added a combos section to this guide yet but I might add it. In teamfights, going in with E and then ulting is a great way of engaging. You can jump in unexpectedly and use the last second of your E to push one important target towards your team so they can kill him. Of course, keep spamming Q and W for damage and heals.

In ganks you have to calculate how far your E will take you. Your gank will fail if it runs out before you get to your target but at the start you won't have a lot of movement speed. I like to use E while running towards the lane so I get extra travel distance for extra damage as well as a little bit of extra speed when the enemy sees me.

Ability sequence is up to the player. Q gives more DPS, W gives more healing and E gives more quick burst. When jungling, maxing Q or W is best because it will increase your jungle speed more.

At the Ability Sequence I think it's a mistake the images don't match and at Other Items you mentioned Spirit Visage twice
In the rest it's okay , I really liked your guide and I like that this build will make Hecarim very tanky +1

Thanks for pointing out those things! I've fixed them now.

Mastery page is very messed up.

A lot of the items say to get like 4 of them when you can only have one.

This is because of how MOBAFIRE handles the masteries, it's not my fault. I hadn't yet updated the masteries for the preseason 3 patch, but MOBAFIRE changed the page. This is why it looked all weird. I even stated this in my guide.

Please read before you vote and consider changing your vote. Everything is now fixed and this guide is up-to-date for S3 :)
