Well I've used Mobafire for the last few months to jump into new characters quickly by studying their general item builds.

I wont take full credit for any of this here-in for that reason. I've compiled in this build alot of things that I have put into play from various builds and use in my own games where I have found them to be highly successful.

Skills -

Q) By and far your number one reason to love this character. Great for pushing, great for defense. Heck just great.

W) These little missles put out some amazing damage mid-late game, I focus on skilling these last for two reasons. 1) The Ability power you'll be stacking pays off at the end, and your turrets are so much mor useful early game. 2) Its awesome mid-late game once youve got a decent reserve of ability power to suprise the enemy with these puppies :D

E) AoE Damage, Blind, and potential Stun. Whats not to love! Second favorite skill only to our turrets of course. It has abit of "air-time" so time it for fleeing enemies, and remember if it hits them dead on its a nice little stun!

R) Frost bullets, woot! Obviously as with most Ults max whenever you can. Great way to make those turrets work even harder, slow fleeing enemies, slow chaseing enemies, pop it in the middle of a group fight for that added WTF on the enemies team. One of my favorite tricks is leaving a turret with an ally in another lane and popping it right when the enemy doesnt expect it. Fun fun.

Items -

Tears of the Goddess: Get it asap! The more mana you have the more ability power later when you upgrade to Archangels.

Sorc Boots: Good ol' magic pen.

Rylai's Scepter: I go for this first over archangels for health reasons, but by all means if your owning, swap this and archangels in position.

Archangels: Mmmm Ability power. This is why you rushed tears, now that big ol mana pool turns into a nice AP boost.

Zhonia's Ring: Mmmm more Ability power! Zhonia's is by and far one of the better mid-late game items because it syncs so well with the ap stacking you've been doing with its AP based on AP ability.

Abyss Scepter: Truthfully I rarely find myself getting to this item as the games are usually over, BUT never hurts to be prepared. This can be swapped for guardian angel if your getting stomped on, but otherwise its a ncie AP boost again and some Magic resist never hurt anyone.

Guardian Angel: You shall not kill me! Again though, games usually over by this point.

Runes/Mastery tree -

I wont try and sound like I have deep thoughts on either of these things, honestly go with what you will, my preffered are posted mearly to make this build complete :-)

Summoner Spells -

Again, nothing that you cant change for stuff you like better. Flash is always nice for getting away, exhaust for catching em. Etc etc etc.
