Everyone of you knows that heimerdinger is hard to play because he gets killed too easy. So I tried some builds and mow I am sure that this build is the best because you do many damage AND you survive

I take AP per level runes to make heimer cause damage while he hasnt got ap items yet

At early game you are very squishy so you need flash to escape. At end game you need teleport to go backdoor while ALL enemies are away, because heimer is a very strong pusher

First you need to buy 2 Warmogs (or you can go 1 WA, Boots, 2nd WA as well) because it will make you able to jump in every fight first, and because you have got your lovely turrets you can stack them up pretty fast in your lane. The enemies will attack you (maybe there are some guys who even are so stupid that they use their ultis on you ;) ), so your teammates can jump in after you, and because of your abilities the enemies already suffered a bit. But after that you need to get strong AP items to do serious damage at end game (normally you get rabandons just about the 40th minute) and some armor to resist against champions like nocurne, yi, xin zhao and so on. If your enemies do more damage with ap than with ad you should get banshees veil instead of GA

Skill Sequence

You need to skill your turrets to level 3 first because so youll be able to take the blue buff from your jungle. After that skill the rocket because with that you can charge enemies veeeeery good ^^ At the end you have to skill your grenade because theres nothing else to skill anymore xD

Ranked Play

Never go mid lane and never take the solo lane when you got a jungler in your team. Place your turrets in the middle of your lane, and dont replace them everytimes even if the enemies destroy them permanently, building turrets costs too much mana

Pros / Cons


-High Survivability
-Many damage
-Very high HP regeneration
-You can escape from ganks where not more than 3 people attack you at once
-Players will focus you so if yuo just run around your turrets while youre attacked by not too much enemies you can make double and maybe even triple kills
-Until end game you make half damage than a normal AP heimer so you see survivability is good when you have ap runes
-Veigars ulti will be totaly useless against you :D


-For the items of this build you need much money
-You are slow untill mid game
-If you are ganked by 2 or 3 stunners at once your cahnces are pretty bad, but that goes for every champ ;)

Creeping / Jungling

When you get your turrets on level 3 (this means you can place 2 of them at once) you should always take the blue buff in your jungle, otherwise you cant go offensive on other players in yuor lane

Team Work

Always try to stay near allied champions who dont have full hp because bacause of your passive they will regenerate faster. As already said try to jump in teamfights first so the tank of your team (and thats you) will be focused first. In the worsest situation you can just flash out when your allies arrived, and stay behind just shooting rockets and throwing your grenade

Do NEVER place every 2 or 3 waves a new turrets riht in front of the enemies creeps just because your turret doesnt reach them. The minions will come, and youll get your gold so dont worry about that.

Dangerous Enemies


Her abilities destroy your turrets very fast and because of her permanent attacks shell do more damage than the amount of HP that you regenerate


If he is in your lane he destroys your turrets very fast and if he is a jungler his ganks may be dangerous if you are too ofensive


If you have an amumu jungler in the enemy team then its the worsest thing which could happen, because he makes insane damage against tanks and turrets and you dont damage him even a little bit

Good champions for your lane


He pulls the enemy to your turrets, you activate your ulti and normally that a 100 percental kill

Cho Gath

Insane damage, and when he uses rupture to knock enemies into the air when theyre before your turrets and silencing them to prevent them from flashing out, thats a good combo
