Heim is often considered a troll pick, but as with all characters practice makes perfect. This build for heim can be used for jungle, top and mid. There is a support build I use sometimes, but is not included in this guide. Heim does not need the first or second blue but the second is preferable if the jungler allows. The beauty with heim is he can easily steal the oppenents jungle without actually going to the blue or red. You can place the turrets from behind the wall and stun and shoot. This ensures that you can steal the buffs without getting caught behind enemy lines. Specific counters that need to play cautious against if you are Heim. Heim can easily counter junglers and when he has ult a jungler wont dare attack him due to being frozen in place and a well place stunned gaurantees a kill.

A problem you may encounter when using heim people say heim does no damage. This is a lie, if you do the build suggested I bet that you will match cs and damage with your own ad carry. If someone complains to you that you do no damage it is most likely because they do no damage and contribute little to your team. A very good team will know in a battle to stay near your turrets if they do not always prepare keep one ready and place two in a location ready for combat. If you cant hit stuns practice in normal matches, about twenty matches in normal should prepare you for ranked.

Caitlyn; if you are forced to support bot than caitlyn becomes an issue she can often kill your turrets without getting close to them. Therefore use your turrets as wards in the bottom bushes so that you dont steal the ad carries and attack incoming junglers.

Fizz; he is the most efficient counter for heim. If he is chosen consider switching locations with a team member, choosing another character or playing strict defense.

Malzahar; does not have to be a counter and can easily be made useless with separating turrets from the minions and when he has his ult keep distance and stun ready.


For any one saying this guy is a quack, I have played over 100 matches with Heim and have a 70 % win ratio. I have a winning KD and avg. 9 assists per game. Give it a try practice and when people complain show them your winning ratio and that should shut them up.
