Your Q is the most importent thing in vel'koz it gives u poke in the early game and deadly DMG in the late game try to work on hiting champions with it even if they are beside other units (minions, champions and jungle camps) u can even hit with it a minion so the secend shot will hit the enemy (it can hit a unit just with one shot so if tow are on each other they both will get hit)
