That mana, which is 180 late game, gives you 6 AP and 45 health from seraph's shield late game. Although that does not seem like much it also helps out a little with the mana problems throughout the game. The style that I play on anivia, which is passive and farming for late game, does not require your summoners to constantly be up because you are not in danger very often. This is the in-depth reason on why I picked these masteries. If you want to take the summoner cooldown mastery instead, be my guest, but when I play anivia I don't find myself getting caught or needing ignite in a battle because I do not play very aggro. That is all.

Alternatively, you can look at the amount of mana you get (for three mastery points), and then lie down, try not to cry, and cry a lot.

The thing is, the summoner cooldowns are actually, you know, good.

Also, if it's not perfect, it is flawed. This is the Lagger way.

Yeah. His is right. Yours is wrong. Let's play Spot the Difference!

It's funny because the top rated anivia guide on this site has nearly identical masteries.

-1. Bad masteries, the guide itself is painful to read.

Ok, thanks for the reply! I'm currently working on making my guide user friendly.

How do you recommend making the guide more user friendly? This is my first guide so I'm definitely looking to improve every aspect of it as I go along. Also, as I described in the rune descriptions chapter, I run armor seals against certain champions, but due to mobafire's rune format, I couldn't make variations to the rune page. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks!
