Hi, this is my build for Draaaaven the Glorious Executioner. Draven is a very fun champion to play, but a very difficult champion to master. He is a high risk high reward champion but I think that the reward in this case is higher than the risk. With his very unique skill set Draven if played properly can easily out lane another carry in the bottom lane.

Flash:
Very important on any carry. Allows you to disengage from unwanted fights as well as catch up to targets.

Heal:
Optional but heal will allow you to bait out fights that you know you can win, with a boost in health you can easily turn the tides of a battle.

Ignite:
Good for picking off kills. Early game it may also help, with a small boost in attack damage.

Ghost:
Allows for quick escapes as well as good chasing, and with the improved ghost you will move very fast.

When I play Draven, in order to be successful you must farm. But there is more to playing him in the bottom lane than just farming. The key is to out lane the other carry. With Draven it is very simple to out lane the other carry. Every time they come up to last hit a minion, hit them with a Q, the added damage on your basic attacks with his spinning axes can out damage almost any other poke from a carry.

There are two choices that work for red runes in this build.

Armor Penetration:
Depending on who you lane against, for example armorpen runes would be a good choice if laning against a Taric or a Graves, because of the passive granted from either abilities or passives.

Flat Damage:
Flat damage is a great choice when laning against squishier characters such as Ezreal, or Vayne, or Sivir. Since Dravens Q is bonus damage on the next basic attack a Spell Shield will not block the bonus damage.

Seals:

Flat Armor: This is so that you can exchange in lane without taking too much damage.

Armor per Level: Once again this is a matter of Opinion, but armor in general will help you exchange better than the other carry.

Glyphs:
Attack Speed: Helps with last hitting, and poking.

Magic resist: Will reduce damage from some supports, as well as some poke from carries.

Quints:
Movespeed: With the combined move speed from your masteries as well as from blood rush mkaes it easy for Draven to get away as well as for him to Catch up, making it easy to catch up.

It is important for you to understand that when playing Draven you have to use the opportunities provided by your team in order to output as much damage as possible. In team fights save your E to prevent anyone from getting to close to you. If you have a tank such as Galio, or a support such as Sona use the AoE ultimates to your advantage and hit as many people as you can with your ultimate. Otherwise while catching axes make sure you activate your bloodrush as much as possible because everytime it gets used it will proc Sheen and Draven with Sheen procs can easily be dealing around 1000 crits, if you have an infinity edge and a blood thirster.

Wait for good initiations and get on the priority targets that you can. NEVER flash into a fight in order to get the carry. Remember your team is also relying on you to carry, and if the carry dies on a team the fight becomes close to impossible for the team to win. Wait for an opening in order to attack the carry.

Draven is a well rounded Character. Since he has such a great tool kit it makes him very viable in games. He is also pretty hard to counter, with a good support, like Soraka, Sona, or Nunu, he can be almost unstoppable in the laning phase of any game.
