ok i liked the guide considering i've not played Vi a lot but i just want to know so i don't make the dumbest mistake of my LoL career... oh wait no i think playing the game at all was my biggest mistake lol just kidding, anyway but could Crit Vi work and if so what items would i need to get?

Well crit vi it's just a total troll build. Of course it can work if you are really fed, but it's almost impossible to make it work. If you don't like the standard builds i show in the guide you can try the on-hit vi build:

* Bloodrazor
* Guinsoo's rageblade
* Blade of the ruined king
* Titanic hydra

Anyway if you want to ask something more, feel free to do it.

Hello, I really enjoyed the vi i main Kayn and well i played a bit of vi when she is free and on PBE and let me just say really fun character but is she worth the buy? i was wondering because nothings worse then buying someone and regretting it.

Hi!
This guide is about a champ I main and love so ofc I will encourage players to buy her. She isn't the best champion if you want to play full metagame, but you can reach the league you want as her and she is really fun to play. So as a review, if you want to play only the top 5 metagame junglers, she won't be there ever, but she is worth a buy if you want to play a funny agressive pick.

great guide, i main kindred and i thought of maining vi this season because kindred is a really stressful jungler with all the marks and it being easy to ambush, and i felt kindred is falling off this season. so i tried vi and i'm loving her,

but i'm curious, what items should i pick up on my first back or a level 4 back to be able to solo dragon?

Hey, first of all thx for reading the guide and now lets split the answer in parts.
1 - The easy one. U can just when u reach lvl 4 (with a quick clear of buffs + wolves/raptors) buy the jgl item (normally i build the squirmish one) and a long sword if u kiled/assist someone and u can easily rush it alone(with smite also up ofc).
2- Kindred is actually this season my 2nd best champ (I reach plat in my smurf easily with her) and i feel like her is in a pretty decent spot. Strong ganks early with red buff, good 1vs1 except some cases and a pretty decent scaling. I would advise you to retry playing her in addition to vi.

Hey there, just a bit of house keeping! First off, I appreciate your guide! Second, In your first paragraph under jungle pathing, you misspelled Raptors as Eaptors.
I was in Bronze every season until I picked up Vi in season 7 and made the climb out of bronze to S5 in both Solo/Duo and Flex. I was held at Masterie lvl 6 for most of the season playing tanky vi. At the start of the off-season I started building Duskblade early and it has been an immense game changer. Since then I got all 3 of my S, S+'s needed for 7.

First of all thanks for the feedback, and I have to tell you that the mistake has already been fixed. I like that playing Vi was your getaway from bronze, and that you are having a good time with her. To be honest I don't recommend lethality on Vi because is a coin flip build since you have to get ahead and finish the game pretty quickly if you don't want to be useless, but if it works for you keep going. Anyway if you want to follow the best balanced builds feel free to copy mines, since you don't run out of damages(still one shooting weak champions) and have the ability to tank. Great guide, super helpful. So pre-6 do you find yourself ganking much and when you do, are you typically leading in with your Q or walking up and getting some W's and E's off?

Thanks a lot and I'm glad you feel this guide usefull. Normally i try to always engage with the charged Q (and with flash+Q sometimes) and then W+E, but if they are really overextended or they have some mobility ability, I reccomed walking towards them, using W+E and when they flash/dash/jump then use your Q. That kind of situations are really intuitive and it's just a matter of playing games with Vi.

Hello kind sir. I am a new LoL player. I watched a YT video about how to main vi out of curiousity, and ever since then, I decided I will main here. I saw some guides saying they build youmuus on her. Do you also think this item is VI-able to her kit? I enjoyed your guide very much as I was having trouble what runes vi is effective with. This guide truly enlightened me.

Hello, after all thank you for wasting your time reading my guide and giving me some feedback. Youmuus is actually a good offensive item on every melee assassin/offtank champion, because its movement speed boost, lethality and flat ad. Besides that i don't like it much on Vi because i think that trinity+warrior gives enough damage and you need tank's stats in order to survive. So, as a summary, you can build it if u want to play that game full ad like an assassin(probably the best item besides trinity if u want to do that) but there are better options if you want to play standard.

I like how focused your cheatsheet is. A lot of authors fall into the trap of trying to recommend everything. One thing I think you could add is boot options ( and ). In addition to the obvious bonus to clarity for readers, it would also have the extra benefit of filling some of the unused horizontal space in your cheatsheet. ^_^

Regarding your suggestions as you have said i tried to summarize a lot if things, so, in the process of that, of course i have forgotten on purpose a lot of variables. I feel like in 80% of my games ninja ones are a better or at least a more reliable choice so that's what i use them as my build example. Anyway your feedback help me improve so thank you again!

Good guide.
From what I've played of Vi so far she seems awfully expensive considering she isnt that strong.
Her ult is super fun though, even though it doesn't do as much damage as I think it should.

Dunkmaster Vi skin is definitely needed.

Thanks a lot for the feedback. If Pi's are your problem VI is a good invest cause she is a reliable and strong jungler either in lower and higher elos. And regarding your comments about VI's ultimate I have to say that the ult is a high damage source (scaling with 140% bonus AD) but you need to build some AD offensive items in order to see it because of the "bonus AD" instead of "total AD".
