Welcome to my Hybrid Aatrox Guide. You are probably thinking: WTF? OMG this champ must be played heavy AD and Lifesteal only!!! Let me tell you, Aatrox is more than just an AD+Lifesteal Wrecker. With 2 of his Abilities scaling with AP he has a damage output that is mostly overseen. I recommend you give this Build a try.

As for the Runes I go with AD reds AD yellows AP blues and AP Quints. You already have an immense sustain built in so you dont need anything else really.

Now this is where it gets interesting. All these items are great for Hybrid Aatrox. Why? Because he profits from every single one. I decided to go for Movespeed Boots because with all the Items you will get AS of about 2.13 when out of Combat. Your lifesteal gets up to 55% an d you even have Spell Vamp which basically gives you a sustain to your E poke. Also your Ultimate heals you for a bit when you activate it.

No one can really get away if you manage to time all your slows right. You have a total of 3 actually. Gunblade and BotrK give you extra damage as well as a life drain from any nearby enemy champion.

Bloodthirster ad Zephyr are also really handy. BT is obvious I guess and Zephyr just adds Tenacity which is really nice to have since you are probably gonna get CC'd at any given chance.

Pros:
+ Great Sustain
+ Ultimate is almost like in his PBE days (OP)
+ You can easily kite the enemies since you get CD reduction as well
+ Spell Vamp AND Lifesteal make you really long lasting in Teamfights
+ Knock Up plus heavy Damage
+ Immense AS
+ Counters many to planers who would normally counter you!
+ CC is reduced
+ Easy First Blood possible
+ and the best: NO ONE EXPECTS YOUR E TO HURT THIS BAD!

Cons:
- Needs practice
- You get heavily focused
