I'm DrThundah and I have been told that I am the best Akali player there is. I currently have 2 builds for Akali. I choose to go hybrid Akali because with full ap Akali you can always kill your opponent(s) but not always successful at farming and pushing on turrets. Hybrid Akali allows you to not only completely rape your opponent(s) but farm like a boss with your E skill. Then because you now have not only ap, but ad you can take turrets down like its nothing. If you don't believe me that I'm the best Akali in the league just add me as a friend and play a game with me ;) I promise I won't dissapoint!

There really isn't much to say about the runes I selected. For marks I choose magic penetration, as for the rest I go straight ability power. Not the one's that give you so much per level. Trust me you would rather start out with as much ability as you can than to wait til level 18 to get that extra ability. I own all the runes so I am telling you this from me trying them out myself.

The items I have chosen are important that you buy them in that order. You want to make sure you get that hextech revolver quickly for the spell vamp, it does wonders! As for the rest you will find out by the time you get the frozen mallet that you are a fairly tanky Akali, being squishy is never fun. Especially when you're being targeted for carrying the team!

It's important you know how to use your skills! When you have the build going and leveled you want to know how to work your skills son! First dash in with Shadow Dance. Then immediately put down your Twilight Shroud, they always panic here :). Hit your Crescent Slash then throw your shuriken at them. At this point they're really panicking and are trying to escape. Now everyone know's you can't escape Akali. Dash after the idiot and finish him off, I promise it won't take much.

Ignite is always good whenever they're on the edge of dying and running to there turret or teammates. As for flash if you need a good escape from enemies simply put your Shadow Shroud down beside and wall and flash away ;) They will be confused to the point where they will call you a hacker!

Akali will now have the largest farm on the team because now that you have ap and ad power, your E skill will be stronger than ever! It will one hit all minions around you easily.

You're tanky!
Your burst is crazy!!
Your attack damage allows you to take a turret down by yourself!!!
You're simply over-powered!!!!

Cons:

Are you kidding me?
