Well, hello Mobafire community. I am Kimura; but enough with the formalities. Fiddlesticks is one of my main characters and I am attempting to write a guide on him as you can see. This guide works well for me since I do use him quite often. This is not a jungle fiddle guide. This is a mid lane (5v5) and a top lane (3v3) guide. I will go through why I have items a specific order later in this build. Please enjoy and rate fairly.

In this guide I will explain my reasoning behind my pros/cons of fiddlesticks, items, rune pages, masteries and what I have found to be successful when using Fiddlesticks. Pros

-Good Solo
-Good Ganks (When leaving lane)
-Good Sustain (Due to Spell vamp)
-AoE Ult
-Able to initiate (With Zhonya's Hourglass and Ult)

Cons

-Squishy as Hell
-Not good against CC
-Partially Difficult to Farm when pushed
-Not good against champs with farther range

Shoppin' So They Droppin'

I will always start out with a doran's ring. Fiddlesticks is a huge spell vamp based char due to his ult and his drain. I would then start to build a(n) Hextech Revolver for the AP and the spell vamp. This revolver will then become a Will of the Ancients later in the game. I would then buy boots of speed to become Sorcerer's Shoes for the tier 2 movement and the Magic pent. I would then buy a needlessly large rod for a Zhonya's Hourglass for initiation and to take less damage when ult'ing into a team fight. (To not get focused down.) I would then get another Needlessly large rod to build toward a Rabadon's Deathcap for later in game. I would sell the Doran's Ring at this point to put toward the making a Athene's Unholy Grail for mana recovery and the added AP. I would then finish off my Rabadon's Deathcap, start toward a Rylai's Crystal Scepter and when I fished the Rylai's I would finish my will of ancients.

Rune time~

9x Greater Marks of insight
-For the Added Magic Penetration (Since Magic Resist Is Becoming Popular)
9x Greater Seal Of Clarity
-Mana regen at low levels helps when solo'ing
-To keep your mana up in order to stay in fights
-Helps sustain
9x Greater Glyphs of Warding
-Most Solo's are AP
-Keep your health up with added MR
3x Greater Quintessences Of Potency
-Added Ap for battles
-Helps to hit a bit harder a lot quicker

I start with dark wind to be able to poke and get rid of minions early game. I then get one terrify and then 2x drain in order to be able to heal while in lane quickly. I then begin to max out terrify in order to Crow Storm in (at level 6) and Terrify then drain. Since drain is level 2 and you Fear'ed the enemy you will gain life and deal a lot of damage. I Would then max out drain (while getting Crow Storm Leveled up when Available). Dark wind is used as a poke and I typically have found other then that I don't use it much. I save this skill for last for that reason.

Fiddle Sticks is a very easy champ to team with. Amumu, is a good champ for him to have a ult in on. Amumu's Ultimate:Curse of the Sad Mummy is an AoE Stun. This leaves enemies to stand in Fiddlesticks AoE ultimate:Crow Storm and take damage. Any one with a CC ultimate or multiple CC skills helps Fiddlesticks Quite a bit. Slows/Stuns help lead into a fear which in turn leads to a team pummel. Silence doesn't help much unless there is a enemy with mutliple CC's since Fiddle is squishy.
