Twisted Fate Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
This is a build for Twisted Fate, I hope it Helps!
Hello, now i see quite a few Twisted Fate players, and i have my own opinions on how he should be played, i hope this build will help you become that one guy who kills everything.
Now because the Build doesn't include armor penetration in the item builds, it is important to get as much with the runes. So getting the Armor penetration runes is a very beneficial part of playing Twisted Fate.
With Twisted Fate, because he is an assassin, you will find that it is more intelligent to put your masteries into offense, yet you may find some mana problems early game, and the utility mastery should help with that.
This item build is an attempt to balance survivability, life-steal, and damage output. Because i heavily believe in life steal for Twisted Fate, you will see that i enjoy the Bloodthirster. Now i dont put too much life steal in this build to give a bit of health and survivability, you will understand it is a good tradeoff. Now the madreds bloodrazer is the way to combat the fact that you wont be building crit, so you might not be getting those 600 damage hits, so this will help take down your opponent a lot faster with the smaller amount of damage being dealt. The phantom dancer is to help with twisted fate's slow movement speed, and to help raise attack speed and crit chance, you will notice that it helps a lot in multiple situations. Finally the Banshee's Vail is the icing on the cake that will help with the survivability.
I chose this order for Twisted Fate's skills because i usually go middle with him. This skill sequence should still help even if laning. The idea behind the sequence is that you can harass people from absurdly long distances early game with wild cards. With wild cards you can even kill someone who is at their turret, without getting hit by the turret, so it is important to level up wild cards because of that. With pick a card, it isn't necessary to level it as fast as other skills, but still useful. Using pick a card to stun, and slow enemies is an incredible advantage when fighting enemy champions, and the fact that you can regain mana with boosted damage is just an added bonus. It is very important to note that on enemy turrets you should use the blue card, because it deals extra damage and restores mana, and if your mana is low, hit creeps with the blue card as well, it works wonders :D.
Now the spells are all about preference, i personally enjoy having flash and ignite on any build. The way i see it is that you can flash closer to an enemy to hit them, and ignite can deal that extra damage you may not be able to do occasionally, and is great when going middle.
This build should help someone with twisted fates tricky demand for high skill. He is a tough champion, but i hope with my tips you can improve your playing. But dont become too amazing, cuz i dont want to see people beating me with twisted fate :D.
