Hello, and welcome to my nightmare style guide to using nocturne.

Pros: Good chase and flee skills pre-and-post level 6. Nice sustaining passive. Great 1v1 fighter.
Cons: Usually main focus. Can be tough to judge when to use your Q for fighting or running. Can be easily burned down.

Early game Noc has a lot of passive attack speed due to his shroud, but lacks a little bit of damage. Hence why I go armor pen runes and base attack damage in my runes. I use the standard glyph and runes of armor and magic resist to help be less squishy.

I like to grab ignite because I usually tend to slack during a fight and they will make a run for it while my fear is on cool down. So to fix that I grab ignite, but grabbing exhaust is a good choice instead of ignite.

Obviously Nocture has one of the most useful ults in the league. It's a decently large radius "leap". Not only does it catch up to who he is chasing but also causes team members to be separated from who he's hitting by breaking line of sight. Not to mention it does a pretty decent amount of damage. His ultimate isn't his only good ability. He has both a fear (which happens to deal a small amount of magic damage) and a passive attack speed active shield from abilities which is great for blocking ultimate's (No more karthus exploding). And thats not all he has a true shot dealing damage and increasing speed while walking on the ground it flew across. Making him a very useful offensive and defensive champion.

Farming with nocturne is personally one of my favorite champions to farm with. His attack speed makes him burn minions quick while his passive hits all of them healing you, making him a great sustain and farmer.

Masteries are self explanatory in my opinion. I grab the base offense for AD and grab armor and the boost of HP.
