something i dont think a lot of people understand when they stack items with unique passives/actives is that the "unique" means it can only be used with one item, in other words, the mana per spell only works to 1000 mana max, even with 6 AA's. the only thing you stack on AA's is the "45 Ability Power, 400 Mana, 25 Mana Per 5 Sec. Passive: 3% of your Max Mana is converted to Ability Power" part. so this build is terrible. why not get something like a tear of goddess to start, then rod, then AA, then reli's, then zhonya's, then voidstaff. i dont even play ryze and i can tell you this is terrible (i do play kass if you're doubting my knowledge of casters). and btw, i highly advise NOT getting majai's because in order for that item to be worth its money you need to get kills, in other words, you must be winning in order to further your winning. its a "i'm pwning you so i can pwn you more" item and if you buy it ealy to get stacks along the way, then you need to have the team comp and skill to win without it. so why not buy an item that doesnt rely on you winning to be good? just sayin.

Yea look at my build, grabbing one rod of ages, then an arch angels lets you start stacking mana for 2 item simultaneously therefore actually doing something for your skill, also more AP faster, i admit i am skeptical about the 2nd rod/AA but i see it happen from time to time.

You do realize just how hard it will be to get 4 max Archangel's Staves? To max the first one takes 250 spell casts, with a 3 second CD. To max the first one you get, if you were constantly casting, 12.5 minutes. Also, that doesn't take into account that Ryze has to have enemy targets to cast on. Each staff has a separate instance as well. So in reality, you will maybe max two if you are lucky. One if you work hard is probably doable. But three or four? No. Also, very unoriginal idea. Seen this before.
