the start

At level 1 you should grab items and run to the enemy red buff if you're in the mid lane. However if you're in the top lane go to which ever buff that is closer to your lane depending on which side you're on. If it is safe to get steal the enmey red buff or blue and head into lane. If mid lane pushes hard come from behind him and place a brush down and get fb.

how to use his spells

Passive- Iverns passive gives him ez jungle clears. But we aren't in the jungle so all that matters is getting ez skuttles and counter jungling. You should steal buff from enemy jungle whenever you push your lane in. Also mid game is when the PASSIVE leaves orbs behind if you or your jungler clears blue or red. So keep eyes open for a FREE RED. Since you'll be getting free red and blue buffs mid game that's why it is important to get Runic Affinity.

Q should be thrown out as much as possible at your enemy. The goal is to harass them out of lane. W however should be placed in a safe place where you can CS and have enough time to react to your enemy attacks.**A good thing about attacking from your brush is that the enemy tends to be more aggressive and throws skill shots at you while in brush. This makes it easier to dodge in my opinion. If you know exactly where your enemy is going to attack, you can do one of two thing be ready to dodge the incoming skill shots or bait out the skill shot. Think of your W like it's your ammunition don't waste it by throwing random brushes every where be smart on the placement.

Notes on W - when you walk out of a brush depending on your attack speed you'll either have 2 or 3 range shots before you go back to melee (this depends on you attack speed)

R- Ivern's ultimate should never be used when you're about to die. Daisy isn't strong enough to save you. However, if you're ganking or chasing someone down after you locked down a Q, you will want to send Daisy out. daisy is fast and has a knock up on her third strike so it's good to use her to hold people down not for damaging enemies keep this in mind. Daisy is also good for chasin kills passed a tower. she can tank all the damage and you can just walk pass the tower for the kill. (Daisy is still weird with the controls so make sure to double click her target cause i notice sometimes i'll click once and she won't do anything. The AI on Daisy is really bad that's why i don't rely too much on her. I just consider Daisy a bonus. Iverns real damage is based on his W and in season 7 it'll be even more dangerous)

***Daisy isn't like Tibers if you die she will go away right away

Why smite in top/mid

Smite is a must on Ivern. It works so well with his passive that you can't go without it. It makes it easier to help counter jungle or grab a quick skuttle for warding. Smite also allows you to get The Bloodrzor.

two smites in one team isn't too bad either easier dragon and baron last hits.

items

first item to rush is the gunblade to increase his burst damage. after that a boot for a mobility. next items should be stalker's blade with blood razor enchantment. this will increase you damage output by a lot. from there you can finish boot or rush duskblade. those two main items you can rush speed and crit items.

i think items should always be flexible depending on how the match is going. so if you're team is doing well go for more damage based items. If you're team isn't doing that great go with defensive items.

gaurdian angle isn't a bad end game or mid game item. i usually get it if i got a really good kill streak going or if i notice the enemy team focuing me.

video expamle

FULL GAME HIGHLIGHTS
in the full gameplay video speed towards the middle of the video because i played vs a singed and he was being super passive which made it tough for me to kill him.

best & worst matchups

anyone with hard cc early on can be a pain to Ivern or really long range attacks. But you can get around this by placing smart brushes and playing smart.

best match ups are against melee ranged champs and low ranged champs.
