I'm not much of a Theorycrafter, and I am not great with descriptions. But this is how I play Janna. I start off the game with a Mana Manipulator, mainly because my teams consist of mana users and it helps out you and your lane partner, and it later builds into your Soul Shroud so you aren't as squishy and have more cool down. Stay in the lane until you have no choice or you get to 1000g so you can buy Mobility right off, or 1.8k-2.1k for Soul Shroud and Boots of Speed. After you have Soul Shroud and Boots of Mobility you are free to gear out with items depending on the enemy team. If CC or Mage heavy get Force of Nature Banshee's Veil and Abyssal Scepter for MR and survivability. If its mixed drop Abyssal Scepter and get Frozen Heart to slow down the pesky melee attacks and to absorb a little more damage. Though most of my games as Janna come to an end before or right after I get my banshee's Veil it all depends on how well your team is doing vs the enemy. I hope you try and like my build for Janna, no promises on cleaning up the description...For it is just how I am.
