Introduction

Hey guys, im Alstan and this is my first guide. I choosed Jarvan becouse he's my main tank and playing with him is very fun :) I play Jarvan as a tank since i bought him,becouse i didn't want a meh tank for low ip =P I also wanted a tank that can do much damage if played well.This all combines Jarvan :D ( I like to shorten things very much so im gonna to say DS for dragon strike GA for golden aegis DB (demacian banner) for demacian standart and i call the ulti just Cata ( in honor to the old Warcraft short Cataclysm expension ;D)

Masteries

About them, take the standart tank build with 0/21/9 taking all the health and defense bonuses in defense and the speed and dead-time reduction in utility.

Runes

In runes i take health regeneration and health per lvl seals ( i just wanna make clear that i don't like flat bonus runes but i buy some anyway) as quintessences i take the health per lvl and the more health rune (speceficly 1.5% more health ( which is quite a lot! )) . As glyphs i take flat health, health per lvl , flat magic resist and magic resist per lvl. I don't focus on damage on Jarvan but i focus very much on durabillity so i don't take so much AD runes.

Items

About items, i start as a jungler ( or as i prefer to start as a jungler) with cloth armor and 5 health pots, upgrade the armor in wriggle's lantern,later take boots depending on the enemy team ( as of carries i take ninja tabi but most of the time if there are several mages in their team and a lot of CC i take mercury's. Later on i always take sunfire cape first the for my first (very) major item warmogs.After it i take force of nature and a frozen mallet for slow and durability.Later on i sell wriggle's and buy atma's.This is a very interesting item on jarvan since it gives you armor and increased AD for the amount of health you have.As you see it's very important for me to have armor and magic resist items as well as very much health. ( which can't be compared with a vladimir who i once met with five warmogs in his inventory :D)

Skill Sequence

The skill order is very important on every champion as nearly all of you know. (Sorry if i offended someone ;D)
I start with dragon strike becouse it's a nice tool to harras at lvl 1.Then i take DB for knock-in-the-air and spent a point in GA.Then i put a point in DB again and a point in DS.I take the cata at lvls 6 11 and 16 as every ulti . I max DB first then i spent a point in GA at lvl 9,15 and 17. Now you might ask yourself why i take this skill sequence.I take it becouse you get bonus AD and armor in DB and some armor reduction for your enemy team at DS (useful at armor tanks like rammus and malphite) I max every ulti at lvls 6,11 & 16. Golden aegis gives a slow but it prefer Ds combo with DB.

Summoner Spells

As summoner spells i take flash and teleport.
I use flash to get in fights aswell to get out of them.
I use teleport to get to my lane if i need it or to just aid my team in the battle.
You can also take ignite and remove teleport but flash is a MUST on Jarvan.

Pros / Cons

Pros:
-Very funny to play
-Has a lot of CC(crowd-control)
-Very good tank
-Can get in team fights and get out of them very quick
-Not skilled players can fed him
-One of the best tanks
Cons:
-Can get easily killed early game if playing aggresivly
-Some times your ulti can kill you becouse it can trap you in it and give your enemies engough time to finish you off.

Summary

As Jarvan can be a challange to play but as you are very durable you can get a lot of kills when your team mates die and leavethe opposite team on low hp, so i was legendary every game that we won when i played jarvan.Jarvan is a champion that can be played good or bad.It's my first guide i posted so please don't be rough on coments ;) P.S sorry for my mistakes at writing,i tried to 'repair' every mistake i found ;)
