Lore

As the royal family of Demacia for centuries, members of the Lightshield line have spent their lives waging war against any who opposed Demacian ethics. It is said that every Lightshield is born with anti-Noxian sentiment in his blood. Jarvan IV is no exception, even though he is the first Lightshield born to the age of League of Legends. As his forefathers had before him, he led Demacian troops into bloody engagements with Noxian forces, and on many occasions he has bled alongside wounded allies and fallen comrades. In his most crushing defeat, he was outmaneuvered and captured by a Noxian battalion under the command of Jericho Swain. This mistake nearly cost him his life at the hands of Urgot, but he was rescued by the Dauntless Vanguard, an elite Demacian strike force led by Jarvan’s childhood companion, Garen.
Those close to him believed that his capture had changed him. Xin Zhao was quoted as saying: "His eyes never seemed to look at you, only through you to something he could not look away from." One day, without warning, Jarvan IV handpicked a squad of Demacian soldiers and left Demacia, vowing to find "atonement". He began by tracking and hunting the most dangerous beasts and bandits he could find in northern Valoran, but he soon tired of such prey. Seeking something that only he understood, he ventured south of the Great Barrier. He wasn’t heard from again for nearly two years. After many had assumed the worst, he returned to glorious fanfare on the streets of Demacia. His Demacian plates were adorned with the bones and scales of creatures unknown. His eyes bore the wisdom of someone twice his age. Of the twelve soldiers who had departed with him, only two returned. In a tone as cold and steady as steel, he swore to bring the enemies of Demacia to their knees.

Pros & Cons

Pros:
Amazing Ganks
2 Gap closers
2 CC abilities without considering the cage itself
Really powerfull charather that keep up an extraordinary damage output in tanky builds
Best initiator in game
Immense utility overall for you team
Can carry/tank the game by himself
Cons:
Hard to master-Needs quite some experienced coordination
Drags off if he isn;t active enough at ganking
Can screw his team with the http://images.wikia.com/leagueoflegends/images/3/39/Cataclysm.jpg so easily

Runes

The runes are obvious of what nature they are..

Yellow&Blue=Ussual deff runes
Red&Quints =A nice armor pen/ad hybrid just to take it to the peek of Jarvan's power

you can also go full armor pen/full ad but it won't be as good as a hybrid.

+never take attack speed runes on him, he has a very nice boost from his E.

Masteries

These Masteries are supposed to make you durrable in the jungle like a damn animal. You will rarely have to go b and get some more HP. This setup will give you tons of survability early game to help you boost the number of ganks and time between ganking by not having to go b a lot of times.

Later on , early to mid game> late game. the runes will boost you off immensly to turn you into a tanky bruiser/initator/damage dealer(overall pain the ***).The Frozen Mallet will give sooooo much utility you would never think of. Having 2 gap closerE+Q combo and Ult if you get in range of someone they will have no escape. And give enought time for your team.

Theis supposed to boost up your mana regen early game, since you kinda need the 1st 2 blues + more ganks with the red buff sticking to you

Items

Wosha, hard one

Well you might be wondering 'wtf' is this after you get your maw of malmortious out...but don't worry. By that point you are so damny tanky (wriggles/E combined with the mercury and maw of malmortius give you a great overall deffense ^^ + the HP coming from heart of gold and Frozen Mallet). So about this point you can start getting your DPS a bit higher, and a boodthirster boosts you out so much in sustain and DPS your an overall god at that point, they basicly can't kill you, but you sure can rough them quite nice. And by the point you get those items anyways, if jarvan(you) see anyone you can just get close to em with your gap closer and isolate them from the enemy team ^^.

The ROUTE

Basic blue starting

Blue>wolf>wraith>red>golem>wraith>gank( without going B untill you get under 50% hp)

Using my route and mastery/runes you should have 95-100% HP when your done jungling with no pots left.

Counter Jungling

Counter jungling is so easy with Jarvan , passing all walls with his E-Q easily and grabbing wraiths and blue and ganking enemies at they're red etc etc etc.

Very few champs have such a mobility as Jarvan has..Mostly you gotta keep an eye on :
Shaco
Lee Sin
Skarner

Ganking 101

Ask your teammate to bait the enmemy( a riven as an example) and force the enemy into using an escape mechanism such as her E. So you can then come with the E exactly where' they are figthting and knock riven up. Immeadeatly use you W to slow her so your teammate can cath up with her.Then if she hasn't died yet after she uses her escape mechanism again-if it's not close to turret and your over lvl 6) go and ult. She won't escape the 2nd time.

As for the others, if the lanes is pushed, then just go to the enmemy in close range when you flank them, don't use the E Q combo yet, and then after you slowed them with W and red, after you see they;re route of esscape, use the E-Q combo right there, they can't run away from that ^^.

And if you want to dive, purely think if your teammate is a burster, such as an akali. So it won't take too long to dive the enemy ...Also consider life saving abilities such as kayle's ulti. Anyways, point is you have to see what are your chances, it's a high risk high reward gnak, since if the enemy is arleady pushed, you can go for the turret and win your team a great advantage.

Demacian Standard+Dragon Strike+Cataclysm+Golden Aegies

Even if you think it's just a passive,is an amazing steroid to have, you basicly got free armor and attack speed for jungle. Max it 1st.

Dragon Strike isn't your normal damage burst ability, the E-Q combo let's you to deal a nice decent amount of damage and knock up. Your damage at 1st will never be based in bursts, mostly by izolating the enemy and catching them no matter what.

Let's say a katarina is running from you, she uses her shunpo, you got E-Q.
She flashes you flash.
but you also have ulti, and champions won't be able to escape you since they ussualy have 1 gap closer/escape mechanism. Jarvan has 2 gap closer + a flash. There is so little hope for them.


Also it's a neat trick to steal enemy blue(which ussualy spawn at about min 7.15) to go E-Q over wall, tkae and leave in the same way.

Initiating teamfights

Jarvan is a great intiatior, imagine the whole sitation with the enemy having the tanks in front and squishy in the back, Jarvan is able to easily chase a retreating team/advancing team at sight. Easily Flashing over the tanks , Then E-Q the squshy straight into ULT. The team will most oftenly panic and run towards base, while the Tanks might just get separated, and if they stay , they will face your tanky OP-nes up the bottom...
