Introduction

Hello fellow Jax players. This will be my first build ive personally made myself so it may seem quite radical but i can prove it does work. Now first off when you think of Jax you think of the most hybrid character in the game. Not only can Jax go AD or AP he can also carry, tank, and be pusher. I chose to make my Jax a combination of the three. This build has allowed me to go 1v2 and come out of it alive while scoring 2 kills on my own. I can only remember 2 of my most recent scores with him one being 28/3/15 and the other 32/6/18. Most games with this build will be frightening to the rest of your team as the build starts very slow. Obviously being fed is quite an advantage for this build but like i said its starts very slow. So lets get on to the guide.

Runes

Runes are seemingly useless, well any good player knows they are a huge advantage over an opponent without them. I like the idea of runes covering the item builds weak spots. Which in the case of this Jax is Dodge Seals, Attack Marks, and Magic Resist Glyphs. The dodge seals increase (of course) his dodge percent chance, which in turn helps him E-move more. The Attack marks are to cover the builds early game lack of AP items. And the Magic Resisit Glyphs are also the the lack of magic resist jax starts with. Early Jax against early magic users = fed Jax.

Masteries

Masteries are pretty self explainitory. Just went for what felt best for Jax, only using 9 points in defense to get Nimbleness which for a dodgy Jax is a great speed booster. And 21 points in attack to decrease cooldowns and increase pretty much everything else related to destroying an opponent.

Items

The build starts Cloth Armor and 5 pots for this reason, I usually play Jax very aggressively on Topside. This means healing is essential for a successful weakening of you opponents and then killing. Ninja Tabi will only be 550g after buying the Cloth Armor so its fairly easy to get after 5 minutes of gameplay. Frozen Mallet is next on the list for this reason, Not only does it increase your survivability it allows jax a chance to freese the enemy, effectivly slowing them down for you to wail on till they die. Warmogs again is expensive but adds to Jax's survivability greatly. Next is Black Cleaver, I originally went just Bloodthirter but on a recommend from a friend added The Black Cleaver to the build and saw a significant increase in the damage Jax would deal to armored opponents. Then Bloodthirster for the Attack increase and Life steal, which in turn makes a ten stack ult Jax able to regen damage taken from the enemy Jax is engaged with. Finally Infinity Edge. The end all be all for this build. Increasing attack and crits is a good way to end the game, added with all the other items Jax now can control the outcome of any 1v1 battle and most 2v1. Ive literally had it so the entire enemy tema chased me down just to finally kill me while my team attacked the nexus. Over 4000hp, 340 damage, a 43% dodge chance makes Jax one of the most feared champions of LoL.

Summoner Spells

I choose ghost and flash for the obvious reason of chase downs. I cant let that kill get away, again im very aggresive and will 9 times outta 10 kill the enemy before letting them escape.

Summary

Altogether this build is reliable. I not gonna say its the best because i know it could use tome tweaking. I say reliable though because ive never had a game with this specific build where ive had less kills than any of my teammates and usually have the most kills of any team. The builds greatest weakness is the heavy reliance on a feeding, if not fed early its a little slow going but after 30 minutes you should be able to be back on track with some jungling and end late game with a very strong and deadly Jax.

Any ideas are appreciated, always looking to improve.
Alrighty thanks all, GL HF
